We stayed for 1 week in July 2016, and had an amazing time.. We stayed in the gite in the courtyard as I am disabled (wheelchair user) and it was perfect for me The place was spotlessly clean and the bed and lounge seats were very comfortable. There is a large bathroom en suite with a high WC and a... More

Our stay at Chateau Latour was an absolute pleasure. We were driving from Paris to Nice, and had booked a single night with Thérèse and Evert Jan at the hotel. We arrived a little early, and our room was not quite ready, so we spent our afternoon reading books by the big pool in their garden. The atmosphere of the... More

We stayed one night here and wished we'd stayed for more. We were warmly welcomed. The room was amazing. Clean and beautiful - perfectly maintained and looked after 17th century house, with incredible architecture, features and wonderful objects. There's a well maintained swimming pool in the beautifully peaceful garden. Our children were warmly welcomed too, and played in the garden,... More

We stayed one night. We requested to arrive early at short notice so that we could use the pool and this responded to (affirmative!) very quickly. On arrival we were given lovely homemade elderflower squash. They also run an "honesty bar" which is a great idea (snacks, soft drinks, beers). We ate with the hosts and other guests that evening,... We enjoyed a wonderful overnight stop at the beautifully restored 18th century Château Latour. Therese and Evert Jan, the owners, made us feel very welcome and were good company during the evening. The dinner and breakfast meals, including many items which were homemade, were really enjoyable, as was sitting around their large dining table together. We would highly recommend a... More
