We arrived at dusk. The female staff was very informative and friendly as she checked us in--I had booked us online. Our cabin was very clean and comfortable with a kitchenette which we used for breakfast. The location was very peaceful and quiet off the edge of town. There were campers with campfires, but not noisy.

We had travelled all day from Greymouth and decided to stop overnight. Before travelling onto Queenstown . The studio unit was quiet and clean and had everything we needed to make breakfast the next morning. Unfortunately we couldn't get the free wifi to work but it didn't really matter

We have just got back from queenstown South Island New Zealand and whilst there we did a road trip for 10 days and this was our first stop. We had pre booked this place before leaving queenstown and as we were a family of 4 wanted somewhere easy to find and not expensive!! It ticked all our boxes we had...

Haast is a township beyond the back of beyond - no mobile phone signal, exceedingly limited internet access, limited choice of accommodation and restaurants etc. Therefore, when booking accommodation, do not expect the Ritz. Heritage Park is perfectly adequate for the passing traveller to spend a night. The rooms are clean and tidy, the bed was very comfortable. It could...

We had not planned to stop here but due to an accident we needed some medical help. We pulled into the Heritage lodge for the night and Blair and Jen could not have been more helpful in arranging for the district nurse. Dinner around the corner and a good night's sleep saw us limping on our way. Many thanks once...

Booked a twin room through the internet and didn't;t expect a ballroom. However this was around than the bathroom in other places. It was clean, which was most important, but very dated. Walls are really paper thin, as said by others already. You can hear guests stirring their tea three rooms down. No alternative for the future. Very limited wifi.

This hotel does the job for one night - but even that may be a stretch. Yes, it was clean but the walls, as other reviewers have noted, really are paper thin. Amenities are a bit thin on the ground - kettle and toaster - but there was only one shop to buy supplies from and stocks were low. Make...
