Really nice hotel, cosy and comfortable. Spotless, with attention to detail everywhere. Very friendly and efficient staff, food very good, great breakfasts, everything well cooked. Lots of places to sit and read or have a chat, really enjoyed stay here. Convenient to Carlow town so only a short stroll to the shops. Plenty of parking at the hotel. Would definitely...

Looked for an hotel for 1 night as Carlow were playing Armagh. The Seven Oaks seemed to tick all the boxes. Booked in and went to the room. No doubt, a lovely room, well designed, but too warm and no air-con, we had to open the window fully and turn off the heating. We dined in the hotel for roughly...

We stayed here over St Patrick's weekend. Had a great time and can not fault the hotel. Location is great, within a short walk from town. Was also great having access to the gym and pool. Breakfast was nice, with a good choice of variety, both hot and cold.

Was disappointed with the food served. My husband had the roast beef which he described as chewy, I had the salmon which was lovely once I scraped off the sauce which over powered it and was to thick. The kids didn't eat their goujons or chips which where either over cooked or had been left under heat as the were...

I really enjoyed my stay at the Seven Oaks Hotel. The beds were comfy and the bar food was lovely. I couldn't really find any faults with this hotel. The staff were also really helpful and friendly. I'd definitely stay again.

Returned for another visit with my mother and daughter. Always a very comfortable weekend...love the little nooks and crannys in the bar and lobby to relax in with the paper and a coffee. The food is excellent ...piping hot with great vegetarian option at dinner..great breakfast buffet too...The bedrooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean. We had adjoining rooms which was...

Carlow has some lovely little pubs and shops and the Seven Oaks was a great place to relax and eat. The restaurant had great food and one of the best breakfasts I had while in Ireland. And the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Went to the restaurant for Mother's Day and it was excellent. Beautifully decorated and great attention to detail. Great food, great service. Especially loved the chicken stuffed with spinach and ricotta. The medley of deserts were mouth watering and devoured by all of us. Free drinks for the mammies was a lovely touch. Will definitely be back again😀

Stayed in the Seven Oaks for an event at the beginning of March 2017. The event itself was very well run and and enjoyable day & night was had by all. Dinner in the bar was lovely - our compliments to the chef. Rooms were very comfortable with plenty of space. Great nights sleep. Breakfast was very busy but enjoyable...
