We visited today and ate the two course meal for Mother's Day £18, which is a good price. There was plenty of options to choose from which again is good, but for both myself and my partner the food that came was average. We ordered a child's meal for our toddler of fish and chips, no veg or salad was...

Was passing by and popped in for lunch. Menu was massive and plenty of variety. I had chicken and ribs not the best the others we were with looked nicer and my fries were under cooked. I ordered a dessert which was enormous and tasty plenty of cream , ice cream and chocolate. Surrounding nice and clean and prices reasonable

Excellent food and service. Our meal was very well presented and tasty. One of had the sandwich and soup which was superb, the chef clearly has a real passion for soups. The other had the trio of sausages, again a superb dish. The location is excellent, plenty of parking and a wonderful moorland location. Dave the owner made us very...

We booked accommodation on the recommendation of a friend. The pub is situated on the edge of the moors in a rural location. Check in was easy and we were put into the Owl room (all the rooms are named after birds). The room was surprisingly larger than it first seemed and had all the comfort you would expect in...

We stayed for one night in the Owl room and the room has everything you would need. The bed was really comfy the room decor very tasteful. Loved the fizzy water in the room. We had our evening meal in the restaurant and the portions are huge and I couldn't eat all the gammon. They are very accommodating and were...

Visited the restaurant on a Sunday evening and was very impressed. The soup was homely and fresh and the meat (especially the gammon) on my mixed grill was SO nice, so tender and not over cooked. I was really impressed with my whole meal, the brownie at the end was delicious too. Staff were very friendly, and accommodating, made sure...

Visited with my partner. Ordered sea bass. Meal came relatively quick but definitely was not the main. Sea bass fillet 3 new potatoes 2 tomatoes and two pieces of rocket ?? For the price at a country pub it's a laugh. In comparison to the serving of sea bass and an actual portion of potatoes and a an actual portion...

Unfortunately we choose this venue due to a family bereavement in the area, however this beautifully set, quaint and friendly venue brightened our time here in Littleborough. The aptly named Pheasant room is perfectly set with stunning Moor views. Completely kitted out with all you need. The bed, the shower all perfect. If we were to make a critical point...

We have stayed here on many occasions over the past 10 years but I am afraid it has changed. On arrival no friendly welcome and just ushered towards the door to the rooms. Stayed for 2 nights for a family event but the rooms are now in dire need of a revamp. They are old, tired and dusty. Floorboards creak...
