We have been riding our bicycles from Canterbury and across France to Rome. We stopped in Viate after a perfect day of riding. Amazing 14 th century farmhouse. Beautiful grounds. Lovely proprietor and amazing resident artist. This is a day we will remember forever.

The rooms were beautifully restored. The breakfast was delicious, home made yoghurt, marmalade and cake, fresh french bread and pastry, and all served in beautiful silverware, cups and plates. The...

The very gentle lady of the house does everything for her guests to feel at home. She even helped pushing our little old car when it stopped running. Everything she...

With my family we passed an incredible sejour at the Chateau de la Hussardiere. The hosts were very intelligent, and we had powerful discussions every morning around a delicious home made breakfast. The rooms were comfortable , each with its own spirit. Excellent service, amazing gardens. No phone reception - which we turned into an advantage and manage to relax....

This is a treasure trove of art, beautifully restored castle and Granary (le Dime) where Marblo the artist and sculptor and his energetic wife Sylviane welcome one with warmth and charm and wonderful food.
