Detailed Reviews
Beautiful farmhouse and gite run by Andy and Jill. Close to D Day beaches and situated up a quiet lane in beautiful countryside. I stayed with my wife and two teenage children for a week and we had a great stay. Andy and Jill are perfect hosts, we had dinner in the farmhouse on the night of our arrival and the food was excellent. Jill is a great cook. There is even a bar above a barn.
Andy has a collection of motorcycles which he was happy to show me. During our trip the weather was very hot and the air con started playing up on my old Subaru. Andy is very handy with cars and offered to take a look. We found a fix online and after an hour or so with the help of his friend Pete he had fixed the problem and the air con worked perfectly. This was after the Subaru dealer in England told me I needed a new a/c compressor that would cost a grand plus VAT for the part- so he saved me being mugged by the UK dealer.
A perfect base for touring Normandy and the Normandy beaches and I would throughly recommend this place

Returned for a second stay at La Tringale with friends after a break of 5+ years and it was just as impressive as I remembered. The continental breakfast is far superior to what you typically get in French B& Bs and the hosts are both welcoming and attentive. The puddings are worth the evening meal on their own; the bar is perfect for mixing and chilling out after a days riding. In an excellent location to explore the region on a bike as a group or solo. Looking forward to next visit already.
Highly recommend, especially if you're a biker.

We returned to La Tringale with our party of Girder Fork Vintage motorcycles and enjoyed the hospitality of new owners Ro and Anita. We occupied the Gite and Cottage, and they were well appointed, clean and tidy. They made us very welcome in the upstairs bar, and both Ro and Anita made sure we were looked after during our stay. The bikes were parked under cover, and La Tringale makes an excellent rural base for our rides out to the beautiful Suisse Normande and the many nearby coastal sites. They made sure we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and we were sad to leave. It's a peaceful location, and it was much appreciated after a long ride on the beautiful roads.

Stayed at La Tringale for 3 nights and was abosolutely blown away with how good it was. Andy and Jill are the most welcoming, attentive hosts I have ever met and the accommodation is spotlessly clean and very roomy. We had the the pleasure of dining with them each night as we were the only guests over the weekend, and despite never meeting them before, it was like chatting to a couple of friends over dinner. They even drove us to the local Pub on the 1st night to welcome us and meet the locals! They love hosting and chatting all things bikes and cars and Jill's cooking is just fabulous. The accommodation is also an ideal base to explore all of the Normandy WW2 sites. Can't wait to return with a few more friends!

What a beautiful, comfortable and peaceful place to stay. Ro and Anita are the perfect hosts. Ro knows the surrounding areas well and gives lots of tips. Being a fellow biker he knew exactly what we wanted. He has a great sense of humour and engages with you perfectly. We stayed in the cottage and had the whole place to ourselves, which was amazing. It’s clean, comfortable and has everything you would need… and then some. Nothing is too much trouble and we felt like old friends, despite never being before. He has an amazing bar full of memorabilia that ex-pats from England and Holland come to regularly. I cannot recommend this place enough and I will definitely be returning. Thankyou Ro, Anita and family.

This has to be one of the best, if not, the best places I've stayed due to the hospitality of the hosts. The first night of our stay we had an amazing dinner prepared for the 5 of us. It was delicious.
The accommodation was amazing, very clean, presented well. You can tell the hosts take pride in their property.
The bar is out of this world. A lot of time and effort has gone in to making this a place that must be seen.
In summary, we were all blown away with how friendly, clean, well presented and a pure joy to stay at.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Ro and Anita allowed us to change our arrangements a couple of times adding more guests and additional motorhome prior to our stay. The rooms were splendid and the breakfasts were perfect. They were friendly, professional and helpful. Would go there again in a heartbeat

Stayed here 5 nights with a group of ten from British Legion Riders. Andy and Gill are great hosts. They made for a nice stress free visit and provided excellent meals at breakfast and evening. Gill is to be congratulated on the home made jams. Never had Marrow and ginger before but it was delicious. The accommodation was clean and very comfortable.
Great location and facilities for any biker group visiting Normandy. Bike overnight covered shelter and wash point. La Tringale is in a peaceful country location making for a nice quiet place to relax after a hard days riding. There is also a drying room for wet gear, (which I hope you never have to use). There are communal areas in the bar and cottage where you relax, watch TV or play darts at the end of the day.
Thanks for a great stay and hope to see you both again in the future.

Just spent 5 days at La Tringale with a bikers group from the RBL. Great location (close to D Day Beaches), good facilities, especially for bikers, but families too. We had B&B & evening meals, all of which were very good quality and value. Our hosts, Andy & Jill looked after us very well indeed and enjoy their gusts with fun and laughter. Highly recommended!!!
