I can't recommend this pub highly enough. The food is delicious, especially pheasant stew on a cold winter's night and the best roast turkey I have ever eaten, and the atmosphere relaxed and welcoming.

We arrived here for a three night stay not knowing what to expect - what a find ! A really brilliant country pub with lovely rooms, excellent food,friendly staff and very good atmosphere. Can't wait to come back next year.

Called in here in the hope we could have lunch and we were not disappointed. We both had the steak and ale pie with chips .Excellent. The pub seemed to accommodate walkers and dogs which is par for the course in that area. Looking around...More
