Mike and Vicky own and run this wonderful B&B. Warm, friendly, and falling over themselves to be accommodating. We book this online, and when we arrived knew immediately we did good; the main house and our room was exactly what we were wanting in our mountain retreat experience. Mike cooks, and breakfast was always like a gourmet treat. We are... More

came here for my daughter's 29th birthday and were greeted nicely by the owners of the property. In hindsight, I would have preferred a place within walking distance to downtown. The Eagle's Nest is a bit far out on a very busy street. Be mindful of that. We had booked the Rio Bravo room because it was downstairs. We like... More

We went for a three day hiking trip around Big Bear. The rooms (cottage suites) were charming, quiet and comfortable. The dining/communal area was quaint and pretty. Mark and Vicki are wonderful hosts, catering to everything with dedication and good taste. In short, we would recommend it, and plan on returning.

Found this B&B by chance on a spur of the moment visit to celebrate our anniversary. Were made to feel very welcome by the owners, Mark and Vicki, who were very friendly and outgoing. The breakfasts were creative and outstanding! Stayed in one of the rooms in the lodge which was nicely appointed and updated. We would highly recommend this... More

Very nice couple runs the place and is very attentive to needs. Lovely cabin with fireplace and jacuzzi tub , I would have preferred more natural light in the room and perhaps newer quilt & shams, but comfortable bed and pillows were very welcome. Quiet and peaceful area.

Found this B&B by luck online when looking for a place to stay last minute. Neither of us have stayed at a bed and breakfast so we weren't sure what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised. The room we booked (Sundance and Butch) was perfect size for the two of us and the bathroom was all updated and nice. The... More

We just returned from our second stay at the Eagles Nest and we can't say enough good things about it! It's truly a blink-and-you-miss-it hidden gem on Big Bear Blvd. The cabins and lodge are beautifully decorated, cozy and comfortable, and filled with little touches like firewood and bath gel for the spa. They even provide ear plugs but you... More

We stayed for three days and two nights at this lodge. It is conveniently located on the main road in Big Bear Lake. Even so, its tree-lined drive and beautiful nature-lined patios made it feel very secluded. Mark was very welcoming to us and to our dog. His rates were very reasonable. This lodge is truly dog-friendly, not just dog-tolerant.... More

I wanted to rate this B&B the highest I could, but had to leave one dot off only because of some noise ( bearable to us ). It is located on the main road so there is traffic, but since we were there on a Sun. and Monday night it wasnt too bad. The only other issue is that on... More
