We stayed in the Elephant Yurt which was perfect for two families to share. The yurt has an idyllic location next to a beautiful lake and there was plenty of space around the cooking and eating areas - great for the children to play. The yurts are well equipped especially to light the wood burner, BBQ and fire. It was...

Well-appointed, cozy, clean, and conveniently located, within minutes of the shoreline or the beautiful walks that the New Forest has to offer. Graham and his team are capable, quick to help with any issues, and all in all our family trip was a total joy. We'll definitely visit again & would highly recommend.

We stayed in a beautiful yurt, warm and cosy. I was very impressed with how it was decorated, really traditional. We were situated seconds from the lake which was wonderful to see each morning. The kitchen area was very well equipped with everything we needed and enough fire wood to keep the camp fire going and the log burners in...

I went here for a few nights away with the girls and it was lovely even if the weather wasn't on our side. The yurts are furnished beautifully and the BBQ area / Gazebo was great for our evenings outside with a glass of Vino and nature all around us. I'll be back again!

What an amazing experience that was! I have been camping before and always find it a bit of a faff packing the car, setting up the tent and repacking at the end. However, with the yurts, all you have to bring is your suitcase/bag and some food, that's it! The yurts have everything you could wish for: quality bedding, crockery,...

Just back from 4 days staying in the yurts; and we've all had an amazing time. The yurts are were extremely comfortable and had everything we could have needed, wood, charcoal, lamps, luxury furnishings and fully equipped kitchens. Even though the weather was against us, the huge gazebo was big enough for all us us to gather under and the...

Spent a weekend in the Elephant Yurt with a group of friends, two of whom had never camped before. The Yurt was beautifully decorated and comfortable and with the aid of the log burner, lovely and cosy. The kitchen area was well equipped(although the BBQ grill a little rickety!) and it was a pleasure to sit out in the Yurt's...

Thank you for your review. We are delighted you enjoyed your stay with us. We would love to do more recycling but have been limited by the local recycling firm as to what they are willing to recycle. We will however push them further and hopefully we can come up with a solution. Thanks again.

We went to Forest Yurts after 3 days in Legoland. Location-wise it's excellent - a quiet wooded area surrounding a lake used for private fishing. The yurts are lovely - we stayed in the Maharajas yurt which was comfortable with one double bed & 2 single beds. The outside kitchen was reasonably well equipped although we had to request a...

We chose the Love Yurt. On the positive side, they have thought of everything you might need and give you lots in the way of torches, firewood, coal, tea bags, even a small pot of fresh coffee. We also ordered the breakfast package from the Owl Farm Shop, which meant some really nice sausages and bacon were waiting in the...

Thank you for your feedback. I can assure you that our yurts are constantly aired and designed to allow air to flow through them otherwise they will not last a month in our damper climate of Northern Europe. We deep clean the yurts themselves at every opportunity on the days they are vacant between bookings, and we are continually evaluating...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Sopley Lake Yurt Camp has been the leading UK glamping destination since opening in 2011. Five yurts on four sites, all beautifully decorated with furnishings from North Africa across Asia to the Far East. The yurts are incredibly cosy and warm up in no time once the wood burner is lit on the coldest of nights. Each yurt has private facilities from a hot shower, composting loo, BBQ area, camp fire and fully equipped cooking station. The location is perfect (Pub within walking distance), lakeside views abundant with wild fowl and fish, close to the New Forest National Park (cycling, horse-riding, pubs) and the beaches near Bournemouth and Christchurch. Surrounded by PYO fields (seasonal fruit and veg available) and fresh farm produce delivered to your yurt fridge for your arrival.
