When my partner said he was taking me to Grindelwald I asked what is that. He said it was just something I had to see and it was on the way to where we were going. When we got to Grindelwald it was a total surprise because you don't expect to see a Swiss village plonked in among the gum...

I've stayed here several times over the years so knew what to expect, but still can't believe the lack of renovation of the villas. How does this place continue to have a 4.5 star rating with the state they are in? The furnishings in particular need replacing, beds are uncomfortable and ours is the smallest "queen" I've ever slept in....

The resort was wonderful. Very friendly staff. Restaurant has excellent dinner dining. Buffet breakfasts are great. Mini golf is a challenging course, but provided lots of laughs for us. Devonshire tea was scrumptious, & also the pancakes. Even played pin ball in the games room. So much to do here at the resort, but just ran out of time.

The accommodation was clean and tidy, maybe a little strangely set out, TV was difficult to watch. The facilities were great, you could stay and enjoy mini golf, golf, swimming, spa and the small shops.

Friendly staff. Clean cabins. Swimming pool, gym, jumping castle. Ideal family environment. Coffee shop, lolly shop and newsagent onsite. Only 10 minutes to city. Also plenty of wineries close by. Recommend.

We stayed here on a Luxury Escapes deal and were very impressed especially with the staff. All the ones we encountered were wonderful. The guy who runs the golf shop is a true gem. At around 5.30 popped our heads in to see what time they closed, it was 5 but he was dealing with some children as though he...

Spent 3 nights in a spa King Chalet on the bottom lake. The room had been renovated and updated, but the overall resort is ageing and is in serious need of a total makeover. We got a fairly good deal with a voucher, but would suggest you look elsewhere if you have to pay full price. Seems to be popular...

Our cabin was designed for a large family, two rooms with two double beds, no actual dinning table , but a sofa bed to sit on and very claustrophobic. In saying this I would imagine for a family it would be good value but we were disappointed with our choice of cabin.

Great place for families, very family friendly, lots to amuse children, jumping pillows, indoor pool, tennis courts, go-carts, crazy golf, water activities. We bought a Luxery Escape deal which included all activities and breakfast. We loved our holiday.

Whenever visiting Launceston or the surrounding area this is certainly my favourite place to stay. Though a small drive out of the city centre, the peace and tranquility of the resort is worth the while. We usually stay in an Alpine Chalet, however on this occasion stayed in the hotel room. Happy enough with what we paid for though I'd...
