We stayed as a family, using Ferme des Prades as a base to explore the Auvergne. We spent an exceptionally peaceful six nights and loved the peace, the food, and the helpful local advice. We searched for somewhere a bit more authentic from the indescript motorway hotels on the long drive to south of france. We were not disappointed. The house itself is a gorgeous stone farmhouse - huge, and full of paraphernalia such as a wall full of keys from long ago, a cows head and antique children's clothes and a school desk,...
