We spent 13 days in Croatia this past summer with our two kids (ages 8 and 5), visiting some of the country's most famous spots: Split, Hvar, Korcula, and Dubrovnik. While all were wonderful, our absolute favorite was Korcula. This island is the perfect destination for families, chill vibes, stunning swimming spots (safe for the kids), and delicious local food!
The highlight of our stay in Croatia was definitely Stowaway Suites. We rented The Terrace Suite at the villa, and although the bedrooms were a bit on the smaller side, the experience was unforgettable. The location right on the water, the proximity to the old town, and the plunge pool with the waterfront deck were all amazing features that made our time in Korcula extra special. The suite also had a massive balcony with an oversized hammock, which our kids absolutely loved lounging in, we did too!!
If you're traveling with children, we highly recommend Korcula AND Stowaway Suites. It was, without a doubt, our favorite accommodation during our trip to Croatia.

My husband and I stayed at Stowaway Suites in May 2024, and it exceeded every expectation. Our suite (The Loft) was beautifully designed with insane ocean views, new furnishings, and thoughtful touches like a spa-like walk-in shower and blackout curtains for ultimate comfort and to help with the jetlag. My favorite places to relax were definitely the infinity pool and private beach. Huge bonus that the staff was lovely, and check-in was super seamless. 10/10! Korcula is pure magic!

We stayed in the Loft Suite, which is on the top floor of the villa, and it was truly paradise! The views from the deck were amazing, the interior was tastefully decorated, but what was most impressive, was the waterfront area, it was perfection! Stowaway Suites was our favorite stay during our 2 week trip throughout the Dalmatian Coast, I would recommend to everyone!!
