We stayed here for the first night of our trek on QCT. My only slight disappointment was that there were no home-made muffins as others described! Apart from that, it entirely met my expectations. The location was perfect - closer than Furneaux Lodge which suited me for my 1st day of walking. The meal provided was also very good. Breakfast...

Got there at 2:15 after our first day walking the Queen Charlotte Track, so had time for a swim in the sound - very bracing! The room was very comfortable, and beautifully located, with a superb view across Endeavour Inlet. We slept well on the queen-sized bed, the dinner Colleen cooked us (main and dessert) was excellent, and went down...

We stayed here after our first day tramping the Queen Charlotte Track. Tired and sweaty, the lodge was a welcome sight. Colleen, our hostess, was welcoming and supplied cold beer and chilled wine. Later our dinner (excellent pork chops) was brought to our room. My wife's gluten sensitivity was observed. A great stay!

There was a beautiful deck where we spent our afternoon reading before we discovered that there was WiFi available, as well. Colleen is an excellent host (and a great chef; be sure to order...
