Room was super nice. And found the food reasonably priced for what it was -- a high end meal -- no other options after 5pm. Views were great. And kayaking with dolphins was super great. Staff were very friendly w/o being intrusive. Like all places on the Queen Charlotte Track, I found this pricey.

We didn't stay here as were camping (5 mins walk away at Camp Bay). We did however utilise the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast...and were so glad we did. After a hard days biking any food would have tasted good to be honest and we didn't have high expectations. What a pleasant surprise. The staff were so welcoming even...

Our second night on the Queen Charlotte, Our room had a stunning view over the inlet and was spacious and very comfortable. We sat on the deck and enjoyed the afternoon sun and just relaxed. Perfect. Food and service were very good. We enjoyed the porthole view of the cove from the shower.

Our 2nd night of the Queen Charlotte, we spent a good afternoon at the bar on the jetty. Our room had a gorgeous view over the inlet and was spacious and very comfortable. Dinner in the restaurant was nice, though we felt a little high priced.

This was night 2 of Queen Charlotte Track Maybe we lucked out but our unit (5) was clearly tired and the shower was basically so under pressured that we were catching droplets to throw at ourselves..... Overall, the resort just looked tired and the vegetation needed a good trim as views were depleted. Having said this, some of the other...

It was quite a hike up to our suite but once up there the views over the water were spectacular. Room has a toaster (yay) a plunger (yay) a microwave (yay). So breakfast was sorted. The highlight of our stay was however the restaurant. This is a truly talented young chef. We had the venison and confit rabbit as a...

Stayed one night when walking Queen Charlotte, had an A frame chalet which was self contained and enough room for one night but everything looked a little dated. There was a great view from the balcony, the bed and shower were fine but one night was enough. Access was steep around the resort which is built into the hillside. The...

We had just one night at Punga Cove while doing the Queen Charlotte walk and really enjoyed it. While the accommodation is a bit dated (we stayed in a old style A frame chalet), it was perfectly comfortable and the views are amazing. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the wharf side bar was a great place to...

We stayed one night at Punga Cove Resort, last week, while walking the Queen Charlotte Track. I found it a disappointment. I had booked a queen size bed room (it had an additional single bed) with ensuite, in what is referred to as The Lodge at a cost of $195NZ. The Lodge, building 15, has 4 bedrooms with a common...

Well worth the drive from Picton on a windy road taking in the views as you go. Accommodation in the Weka chalet was very comfortable and clean. The meals at the restaurant were of a high standard and sourced locally. The staff were friendly and helpful.
