This is a truly welcoming Guest House that provides an excellent level of accommodation twinned with friendly hosts for whom nothing is too much trouble. We stayed in the Laroch room that boasts an Empress sized bed with luxury en suite bathroom. The decor and facilities were of the highest standard, with a lovely outlook through the french doors to...

We have visited Mansdale on numerous occassions and always feel very welcome. It is very true that you leave as friends. They are hard working and good people Dougie and Elaine who enjoy making your stay both memorable and exceptional. The Laroch room is set with private ensuite, queen size bed and french doors out into the garden. Breakfast is...

We have been using this excellent B&B for the last 4 years, twice this year, twice last and 2 or 3 other times previously. Every stay has been perfect, superb breakfasts, spotlessly clean and superbly comfortable. We have had every room, even booked all the rooms this June! Douglass and Elaine will help with local advise or directions, they have...

We just came back from there. We were so lucky to find such an excellent b&b around St Andrews during the period of university graduation ceremony. It is just about 10 mins drive from St Andrews, and a similar distance from leuchars railway station. The double room we stayed there for two days is bright, modern designed and decorated which...

We have stayed at Mansedale House 3 times in the last two years while we have been visiting friends. Dougie and Elaine have always provided a very warm welcome and are excellent hosts, they are very accommodating, coping with early starts to the day as well as normal breakfast times. The rooms are furnished to a high modern standard, spotlessly...

I am fortunate enough to have visited St. Andrews twice this year, on both occasions staying with Dougie and Elaine. As always there was a warm welcome , a spotlessly clean room ( they always look like they've just been decorated) and as ever a superb breakfast that will sustain you all day. Fabulous place wouldn't stay anywhere else

We recently stayed at this lovely B&B on a recommendation, and so glad we did! It is equal to any 5star hotel we have stayed in. The rooms are modern and bright with personal touches to make you feel welcome (loved the Thurnocks caramel, much better than a plain biscuit). The hospitality from Elaine and Dougie was fantastic and definitely...

We once again returned for a two night stay at our favourite B&B, Mansedale House in Strathkiness only minutes away by car from St Andrews. The standard is exceptional and the food and hospitality is absolutely first class. Elaine and Dougie are the perfect hosts and serve up an excellent selection for breakfast. The coach house at the top of...

My son and I stayed for a night in a twin room at this lovely B&B, which was located away from the main house. The room was very tastefully decorated and had a superb en-suite shower room. The owner was very pleasant and friendly and in the morning she gave us a delicious breakfast in the main house. It was...
