Oz Safak is my favorite place to visit in Central Turkey. I have worked and traveled throughout the area and this place is hard to beat! With excellent views, delicious homemade food, and easy access to the mountains I highly recommend this spot. Başar is an excellent and honest owner.

After several trips for geological field work to this extraordinarily beautiful and epic pension at the foot of the "Turkish Alps", i can honestly say i have never felt more peaceful and humbled than when i am on the outdoor patio at Ozsafak. Basar is such a kind, genuine, and mindful host, and now im glad to say, a true...

If you like mountains, trekking, silence and stillness, would like to touch natural countryside lifestyle, to face ordinary people around (which are very friendly), this place is highly recommended))) Cozy family pansion with great view from balcony, home-made cuisine, nice talks with neighbors from different countries at dinner (if you want), and a very nice and helpful host - young...

We stayed two nights at the pension and also went trekking in the mountains for three days with Basar. The pension is very nice. Beautiful balcony overlooking the mountains whilst we enjoyed our excellent home cooked dinners and breakfasts. Basar's mother is a fantastic cook and her jams are amazing. We had a great time in the mountains too and...

We stayed two nights at this pension as part of our two week birdwatching and culture tour of Turkey. Basar (and his father before him) is noted for having local knowledge to see a number of speciality birds of the area - top of any list being Caspian Snowcock, which lives only on the very tops of the mountains. Baser...

We stayed 2 nights at Ozsafak pension, with the aim of a day's hiking in the Aladag. The building has several (5?) rooms on the main floor set around the communal dining/lounge area. The room we had had a basic en-suite bathroom and a view via the terrace to the mountains (not all were en-suite). The bedroom had a double...

It was a pleasure to have dinner at the Ozsafak Pension. Well made in a warm and friendly environment. We didn't sleep there but utilized the driving service by Mr Basar Safak to reach the mountains on the altitude where the Caspian Snowcock can be seen. An unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this hotel and its services!

Safak Pension is a family-run pension set in lovely grounds of about 1000 square metres. The substantial main building has the family quarters on the ground floor. Above is a large balcony with views across the valley and towards the Demirkazik Mountains in the Aladaglar National Park - and a great place to have breakfast. The main dining/sitting room is...

The moment we arrived we felt very welcome and at home. Basar and John went out of their ways to make us feel comfortable. It is a fantastic location with a splendid view on the Aladag mountains. Basar really knows his stuff about the birds and will do anything to present to you the birds which live in the mountains....

If you are searchıng for the genuıne Turkısh experıence then I suggest you go no further than Ozsafak Pensıon. Basar and John make two of the best hosts-and the place feels lıke home from home.
