Hotel description
Pwll-y-Faedda is an elegant 1920s fishing lodge, with fabulous views of the rolling Welsh hills. The Brecon Beacons are only minutes away and the Black Mountains loom on the distant horizon. This magnificent scenery makes a spectacular backdrop for any occasion. The magic of Pwll-y-Faedda starts as you come down the drive and the River Wye in its magnificence tumbles past your very eyes. You then know that you have chosen the perfect spot for your moment of relaxation. Our home retains the warmth and sporting character of a fishing lodge but also has the grandeur of a fine country house. Long days spent on the terrace as the River Wye meanders past conjures up memories of a bygone era. Oak panelled rooms, roaring fires, and wonderful bedrooms with river views all add to the special touch of Pwll-y-Faedda. Our setting on the banks of the River Wye with some of the best fishing along the upper Wye works wonders for anglers.
