This was a work trip. It was nice after a long to relax here. It was a short stay. It looks like it has a number of amenities. I would have love to try. The paddle boat, canoe, trails and general setting. The fridge had microwave food etc too. There is a front loading in*suite laundry a massage table in a separate room The only real and chief complaint is the tap and shower water really stinks. It is awful! No taking a longer shower there. They do provide a supplied water, water cooler hidden in a corner. When i was there it was only at night.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. The cabin is very cute and very clean it has everything you need to feel right at home. Nina & Wayne are such great hosts and down to earth. I'll definitely be booking to stay here again if I'm back in the area. Oh yea I almost forgot to mention how beautiful Round Lake is, there's a little beach area with kayaks and canoe to enjoy by yourself or there's enough for the whole family to enjoy. They also have a life jacket all sizes.

Round Lake is a magical place. We were lucky enough to stay at the resort for the month of April 2021. By mid April, we watched the lake transform from a frozen surface to an incredible spring playground. We were blessed to witness the arrival of a parade of birds frolicking on the lake. Eagles, loon, osprey, hummingbirds, kingfisher, ducks, geese and more. We enjoyed the canoes and kayaks and were able to paddle around the entire lake which made for great bird watching and spectacular views. There were also nice forest trails throughout the property for peaceful walks. Lots of activities for fun and relaxation in all seasons. We stayed in the Lancelot Cabin. It was spotlessly clean with comfortable furniture, a well equipped kitchen and good size bathroom with a large bathtub. There is also a pantry for extra storage. Wood fireplace was lovely for cosy evenings. The resort is very quiet and peaceful. We fell asleep to the sound of the loons. The bed was very comfortable and the bedroom had a closet with ample space to store our clothes. In keeping with the relaxing setting, the internet service is optional if you need to be more connected during your stay. The connection was very reliable and worked well for our business needs as well for streaming movies and video calls. There was good cell phone coverage in the cabin and the entire property too. Every evening we enjoyed the sunsets. The cabin deck had comfortable chairs that were in the sun each afternoon. Inside, the dining table had full views of the lake. There are views of Hudson Bay Mountain and other mountain ranges from the cabin and the entire property. The sunny aspect is ideal for relaxing on deck chairs by the lake. There are also some firepits to enjoy at night if you choose. Round Lake is a great location to explore the Bulkley Valley and an easy drive to Smithers. I would recommend the cabins for short or long term stays. Wayne and Nina were very welcoming and accommodating, always fast to respond to any questions that we had. We would definitely stay at Round Lake Cabins again. Thank you Wayne and Nina for sharing your piece of paradise with us.…

In October 2016 on our annual fishing trip to the Telkwa/Smithers area we opted to stay at Round Lake rather than the usual motels in the area. It was a good choice. The resort has a number of small cabins on a large piece of property on pretty Round Lake. It would be a great place for a summer visit as the resort provides a multitude of water craft to enjoy on the water. The cabins are rustic with a wood burning stove to supplement the electric heat. They are quiet with no TV or WIFI internet but cell coverage is fine so you can stream TV and do your email. We watched the World Series! The kitchen is small but functional. The owner, Wayne is extremely welcoming and helpful. We were towing a jet boat which he generously let us leave at the resort while we ventured to Terrace for 5 days.…

Round Lake Resort is absolutely wonderful! Wayne and Nina (and family) were great hosts during our stay. We visited in the early spring and they had our cabin's fireplace going and the place was nice and warm for us. After we were settled in, their children brought over children's books and stuffed animals for our kids, Nina made a pie.... the list goes on. Lake setting with tons of activities, rustic cabins, beautiful views, warm hospitality, the works. I would suggest every traveler stop here and get back to nature.

My boyfriend and I spent a weekend here as a quick getaway out of the city. It was fantastic. We loved the cozy little cabin (which had everything we could need, we just brought our own food) and the lakefront location was perfect for my fisherman boyfriend. My dog loved the open area. The owners are super friendly. It was the perfect outdoor weekend getaway.

If you are looking for tranquility and a beautiful rustic setting this is the place to go. We have had the opportunity to visit three times now and each time the experience is unique and well beyond expectations. We have two children who are enthralled by the fishing opportunities at Round Lake, and the equipment which is included with our stay. We could choose between, my favourite, paddle boats, kayaks, canoes, and an aluminium boat. The hosts and their family are very welcome and ensure your stay is pleasant. For me, living in the city, and being able to visit Round Lake - leaving all of my cares behind and having a truly 'back to nature' experience was incredible. The serenity and peacefulness we experienced is second to none. There are a lot of activities to take part in, but the cabins are so privately nestled into nature, that if you would prefer to sit in silence and think about life/read a book you can find that here too. I highly advise Round Lake resort as an opportunity to get back to nature in a beautiful setting with exceptional hosts.…
