Wonderful friendly atmosphere, Beautiful well kept gardens, and swimming pool. Ideal wedding venue. Food amazing and inexpensive relaxed and lovely dining area. Not far to walk to near town (uphill) Downside no tea/coffee facilities and mattress very hard! But will definitely stay there again but take my own travel kettle.

very special staff who could not do enough for us. That includes providing us Brits with a kettle so we could indulge in afternoon tea when the bar was closed. Making us a packed breakfast when we had to leave at 5.00 am in the morning and the night porter knocked on our door and opened the main gates for...

Stayed in one of the junior suits which although old was clean and well maintained. Staff were very friendly and food was of very good quality and not too expensive. Monday to Friday they have a three course lunch menu of the day for under 10€. Well worth trying. Ideal location for getting away from it all. Free wifi in...

Returned 2 years after our first visit to find that the qualities of peace and tranquility and excellent service remain. The gardens are as beautiful as ever and the room was well maintained and has an old-fashioned charm. There is no wifi in the rooms but it is avaialable for free in the lounge and there is also a desktop...

Two nights, the 16 and 17th Jan 2015. The position is excellent, the gardens are great, the hotel has great potential but it has been underfunded. The rooms are tired and need renewal. There is no wi-fi in the rooms, which for a hotel charging over 130 euros a night is totally unacceptable. It is not good enough to have...

We spent two weeks in the Superior Bungalow with its own private garden and outdoor jacuzzi. We can honestly say that it is one of the most restful holidays we have had and the surroundings are simply breathtaking. The gardens are amazing and contain the most weird and wonderful plants making every leisurely walk around the finca, a mini voyage...

This hotel is located away from the usual tourist resorts of Los Cristianos etc - it is situated on the outskirts of Guimar, an inland town. It has large, lovely gardens and we would recommend one of the Bungalows to appreciate them. The Bungalows (wooden construction, with lounge area, and tiny kitchenette) are very peaceful. They are semi-detached, so it...

We stayed at this hotel 10 years ago and looked forward to returning. However, we shall not go again. It has enormous potential being situated away from the hectic tourist areas and hidden away in beautiful gardens. It is overdue for updating as the furnishings appear tired and our bathroom needed modernising, particularly the cracked shower tray. Overall the staff were very...

We stayed for a week in a junior suite in this hotel and enjoyed every minute of our stay. If you don't like the crowds in the Southern part of Tenerife this is the place to be. Sure you need a car to visit the well known turistical sites, but most of them can be treached are within 30 -...

Firstly a brief explanation. 'Hotel Rural' does not mean a hotel in the countryside but one which still has some agricultural connection. So this hotel is just on the edge of Guimar but stands in its own 5 ha walled grounds which include a commercial avocado plantation - don't worry, they grow quietly! Although next to the main road as...
