Absolutely stunning place, lovely staff, beautiful bungalows and one of the few places you will find with a spotless, litter free beach thanks to the huge effort they make keeping it clean. Perfect place to relax for a few days. Highly recommended!

This place is fantastic. We booked for 3 nights, then arrived, got our stuff into our bungalow and immediately went and extended it for another 2 nights. Private bungalows on a private beach with beautiful surroundings and a very nice vibe. The pleasant and clean beach slopes gently into a very warm ocean with gentle waves. Everything about this place... More

We never stayed here but we did eat lunch here and liked it so much we stayed playing cards and scrabble until dinner. The food is brilliant. Very tasty and fresh. Really was not expecting that from a small island hotel restaurant. The staff are really friendly and helpful. 100% worth a visit, whatever part of the island you are... More

Having had a terrible experience at an Otres Hostel, it was such a joy to be welcomed by David on the quay, taken inside and given a cold drink and a friendly chat and welcome. So simple to be brilliant. Our two day stay turned into four days. Simple beach bungalows with big beds and mozzie nets. Hammocks to chill... More

There are so many good things to say about this place. Firstly it is just beautiful and peaceful. Just big enough so there are people around if you feel like meeting other travellers, but small enough that you can get a large piece of beach to yourself. The beach is very child friendly with some nice (not fantastic but ok)... More

My family came to visit me in Cambodia and we had a lot of trouble finding somewhere simple but relaxing - it seemed like everything was either poor quality or over-the-top ritzy. Lazy Beach was the perfect escape from all that. No internet, electricity only from 6pm until 6am for the fan and lights. It's on a beautiful beach only... More

Well I have been there for 7days and I wished I could spend hundred other days, true that for some people this is not a fancy place as a very well designed resort with amazing beds and massage on the beach, but the unique side of such an experience is that you relate with a virgin nature and you see... Please be aware these people can leave you stranded and they don't care. After having followed all of their instructions -- asking you to book by phone or SMS (I did both) and confirm 5 days before you come -, I was left stranded by Lazy Beach and they couldn't care less - all they cared about was their money.... I know that title is one of the cheesiest titles one can write on trip advisor, but Lazy Beach is truly paradise. I've lived in SE Asia for 7 years so I've traveled to a lot of islands and beaches and none compare to this. The important thing to remember is what paradise means to you. For me paradise is:... Selfishly, I hesitate to write this review, as this place is perfect, and I don't want it spoiled. But, I trust Chris (one of the owners) and his vision for Lazy Beach, he won't let it be turned in to a "resort." So... lucked out completely. We sought solace from the nasty winds on the Saracen Bay side of the... More
