My wife and I found this pub purely by chance while looking for a place to have lunch, and, being a Coeliac, I was made up when I saw the "large Gluten Free menu" sign outside. The pub was very pleasant and the service was fine. Our starters, the chilli pork and the trout and anchovy salad, were brilliant. I...

I don't normally write reviews but will if I've had an excellent experience or a bad experience, and unfortunately it's the latter on this occasion. Last weekend I was down visiting family, we decided to call in at the true lovers knot for a spot of Sunday lunch and to also check out the camping facilities, as we are looking...

My husband has driven past this pub many times, so when we were looking for somewhere to have a Sunday lunch, en-route to Kingston Lacey (National Trust), we took pot luck and called in, not having booked a table. This was not a problem, yes, they were busy, but we were made to feel very welcome & asked to sit...

We booked lunch here at the last minute for a member of staffs leaving lunch. Booked our order in ahead but was still a big ask as there were 18 of us. All food was delicious and well presented. I had the pork belly which was incredible and a sizeable portion. No complaints from anyone. Good range of local beers...

I've visited The True Lovers Knot quite a few times previously as they provide a good selection of gluten free food, which is essential to me. Our latest evening visit was with two other couples when we ate in the restaurant part of the pub. We ordered a wide selection of meals, the (GF) faggots that a couple of us...

What a lovely family pub. We spent a really great three nights there over new year. The rooms are furnished well and are very comfortable. The bar and restaurant offer great, well priced food. We have stayed there before and would definitely visit again. Thank you Chloe, Chris and staff for a lovely break.

What a lovely pub in a beautiful setting. The menu is amazing! Food quality is 10/10. I had a lovely lamb dish - best lamb I have ever eaten. Lots of foods are locally sourced. Staff were lovely. The pub itself has a lovely atmosphere - very cosy but spacious

we had been passed this pub a number of times in the years we have lived in the area but this was the first and will not be the last, we were made welcome the moment we walked in by the barman/waiter and lead us to a table, gave us the menu and pointed out the specials board, he then...

We stayed here Friday night after spending the day at Monkey world. With a 1 year old in tow the room was gorgeous, we were lucky enough to get the room with the 4 poster bed. Upon arrival we were greeted by the lovely girls in the bar who showed us to our room. Even offered to carry our bags!...

We were looking forward to this meal after a wonderful walk across the nearby WW2 airfield. We arrived at 11:45 & verily, the doors were locked & not opened until midday precisely. Shame really as there were three other couples who were waiting outside & we know of many establishments that now open at eleven on a Sunday so folk...

It has taken me a week to decide how to respond to your review, which I largely find rude and patronising. I welcome constructive criticism, but in this case I find the general intention of your review is to make this business look unprofessional, inexperienced, and the manager basically stupid. All of which is not true. I don't feel the...
