Wonderful experience with Cradle Mtn Huts. I would do it again in a heartbeat. Our guides, Angela and Nick, were fantastic. Friendly and professional. Their passion for the Tasmanian wilderness shone through and made the walk an unforgettable experience for me. The huts were warm and comfortable whilst still maintaining the "bush" feel. Great Tasmanian food and wine too.

We walked the Overland Track in March 2017 – as a tribe of 6 adults (3 couples) we were joined by our 2 fabulous Tas Walking Co guides Mat and Dayna and two other couples. It turned out to be a great combination (early indicator all 10 of us went swimming at the first lake on way to Marion’s lookout...

Before taking our first steps on the trail I already felt good about this organization. Every question I e-mailed got answered within a day or two. They encouraged me to ask any questions related to our upcoming hike. From our pre-hike gathering you got the feeling this was going to be a fabulous experience. The organization is top notch. They...

We took a 4 day/3 night option on walking the Overland track (there is also a 6 day option). Run by the Tasmanian Walking Company we were sent an extensive kit list requirement before the walk, but the TWC supply good waterproof jackets and backpacks, bag liners and pillow case. Good boots, over trousers, spats, gloves and a beanie are...

My husband and I walked the Overland Track with the Tasmanian Walking Company, and we LOVED it. Our guides Burt and Brenton were very knowledgable. We were also fortunate enough to have Jo on our trip, and she was so funny and fun! The company really takes care of everything, from going over your gear list with you to dropping...

Not only do they enable you to do the walk with minimum preparation (in terms of research, buying equipment etc) the knowledge and character of the guides and well thought out huts make the experience one to remember. Our guides - Kim, Mick and Gemma - ensured everyone was as happy and comfortable throughout. Despite being a group of 10...

What an amazing experience! Our amazing guides, Andy and Ellie, were fantastic. They were knowledgeable about our surroundings, our personal safety (from patching up blisters to binding boots, to general care along the trail), and when we arrived at the huts they continued, day after day, to provide amazing snacks and meals that made us forget that we were in...

I was fortunate/unfortunate to do the Overland Track while it was quite heavily snowing, but the sceneries were breathtaking and the walk was perfectly doable in spite of the weather conditions (and I'm far from being a seasoned bush walker). The huts are warm and comfortable, as well as super environmental friendly. But really, it's guides that made the difference...

We chose the Tasmanian walking company and Cradle Mountain Huts to walk the Overland Track over 6 days. One of the best decisions we have made. Firstly, the guides are fantastic, thank you Nick and Ellie, and secondly the company gives you a gear list and assistance that is spot on. As this was our first big walk we decided...
