The best of the estancia is the outstanding team of people that collaborate every day to make your experience absolutely outstanding. Leo and Ornella in the Kitchen and Maxi "the Gaucho" who organizes the horseback ridings or Cabalgatas. My wife and I went with our two young Children ages 11 and 8 and they were patient, accommodating and caring. They...

This is for us one of the few truly exceptional places in the world, a fabulous experience not to be missed. Nothing negative to report and everything positive is amply described here by other travellers so no need to repeat it. One minor word of advice, if you travel there with your own transport, once you have left Jesus Maria...

Wonderful hotel on the countryside with amazing food and excellent service. Our family had beautiful horseback rides around the estancia everyday. The rooms are very spacious and immaculately decorated, as well as the bathrooms. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners, Stephanie and Raoul, who made us feel very much at home. The hotel manager planned our Vigilia de...

We spent three wonderful and restful days at El Colibri taking a break from a lengthy (three plus week) trip that will have taken us from Uruguay through the length and breadth of Argentina to the far and remote north. The estancia is located about one hour outside of Cordoba and once ensconced, you don't (and won't want to) leave....

Beautiful place! Food fantastic with the best carne asada we had on our trip. Very relaxing, superb service and the owners were delightful. We did wine tasting, rode horses, picnic and really enjoyed ourselves. Great staff of people that didn't miss a thing. Don't miss it...highly recommended. Joe Dooley

This is a stunning building in a lovely setting. Greeted personally on the driveway by all of the staff, and we could not have asked for better hospitality. We were fortunate to have the estancia all to ourselves during our 4 day pre-Christmas stay, so benefited from an upgrade to the large suite and effectively 1-to-1 dedicated service (although it...

As other reviewers have said this is a truly outstanding place. Attentive staff with great food and wines. Riding and polo lessons were amazing. Well worth the trip from Cordobo so we highly recommend coming here. It is not cheap but is worth every penny for a special experience. Only problem is that there is too much good food!k

A truly outstanding experience. The thoughtfulness of the team and quality of their service has significantly raised the bar for future holidays. A stunning place with indulgence at every turn, including a number of the best culinary treats ever tasted. Add to this the beautiful, top calibre horses and you can see why we are recommending it to everyone.

We had a fantastic stay at El Colibri partly because the staff was so helpful. El Colibri is about a 45 minute drive from Cordoba airport and is set in a beautiful pasture that was landscaped by the enthusiastic French owners who keep an eye on every aspect of the property. The rooms are large and the views of the...

My husband and I stayed at El Colibri half way through our Brazil / Argentina trip. In all honesty we had not done much research in advance and had gone largely on the recommendation of our travel agent. We were so so pleasantly surprised by what we found when we arrived. Greeted by a selection of the staff on arrival,...

“Suites away from restaurant side are quieter, if you want to retire early. But you probably won't.”

“Since there was low occupancy when we were there we were upgraded to the suite, which was very big. My husband later saw the average-sized room we were supposed to stay in and mentioned it was much smaller and that he wouldn't have been so happy if we were to stay there. If you can spare a few more coins for the larger room then I'd say go for it, but in any case we didn't actually spend that much time in the room so for me it wouldn't have mattered.”

“I believe that all the rooms here are good as some of the doors to other rooms were open on our arrival and they were very pretty. The grand suite is huge if you really want to splash out.”
