I'm so glad you have discovered the serenity of Palm Island. The teenagers enjoyed it too! That is so awesome! See you next time.
If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle, this is it. Take a short ferry ride to the island, then leave your car parked for the duration. Travel by bike, golf cart, or dock your boat for daily excursions to Cabbage Key,...More

We so appreciate your comments and your year after year visits! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!
This has been my go to vacation spot for 30 years. Uncrowded beaches. Fantastic shelling. Wild life especially shore birds. . Visually beautiful no high rises. No cars and crushed shell roads therefore quiet. Multiple pools. Fantastic tennis program.

I would say it's a good hour and a half. Regardless of what your GPS says, stay on the expressway as long as possible. I took what I thought would be a short cut (US23?) and it added a half hour on to the trip.
