Decided on a last minute fishing trip----had been to Hyatts many years before. Really glad we decided to go back. Don and Brenda, and the girls go out of their way to make sure you have a great time. Fishing was good,,,,,plenty of walleyes to eat and never caught so many smallmouths as we did in 4 days.
I have had the blessing of seeing many parts of the world, including luxury resorts and remote, eco-resorts. During the past 11 years, my trips to Hyatts have been some of my greatest experiences. Don and Brenda give their guests a true north woods experience. The lodge, lakes and forests are beautiful. The cabins are perfectly maintained and you can count on every motor starting immediately. There is firewood ready at each cabin and all bathrooms and showers are spotless. Somehow they even make large fish bite and they arrange for us to see bear and moose every trip. The cabins are secluded enough for as much privacy as you want but there is usually great conversation every night at the lodge. I would recommend Hyatts to anyone and I am certain that they will create…
I have been going to Manion Lake since the 1970's , and have always found this the best place to relax and fish. The Hyatts have a great place. The cabins are clean and have all the amenities the fishing is great. Richard E. Duluth Mn
Our group of 8 just got back from a wonderful Canadian fishing trip at Hyatt's. The folks that operate it are great. The cabins are clean and comfortable and the fishing was good, even in the dog days of August. Everyone in our group wants to return next year.
It's difficult to find the words to describe our stay at Hyatt's camp on Manion Lake late June 2012. The accomodations were perfect, the Hyatt Family service was impeccable, they are sole of the earth people, My Dad, brother and chilhood friend had a blast!!! The fishing was better than a dream...Walleye, Smallmouth (2-4 pounders common), and Northern's (from hammer handle size to 35", see picture (Mr. Ellingson struck it big with a buzz bait on Moose Trap Lake, a must do portage)... If you want to get away from civilization (and I mean out in the bush) and you love to fish...book a trip now, you will not regret it... Thanks again to the Hyatt's... Dale Crawley
