A delightful stay in the heart of Snowdonia. We were looking for a cottage to escape from the city in the heart of the national park and couldn't have found a better place to rest our heads for the week. It's fairly central within the park and easily accessible by road to a number of attractions. It's under an hours drive from Llanberis and the start of the Snowdon climb to the summit. The suites are located on a working farm with a number of animals to see on your stay. This may deter some, and it was a little perilous at times pulling into the drive with the chickens walking around on occasion however it was lovely to wake up looking out over the beautiful mountains and valleys with the resident goats and alpaca in the morning.

The apartments have all the expected facilities you would hope for and more, the use of a fully equipped kitchen allowed meals to be prepared more easily which was helpful when returning from a days hiking and not wanting to go out again. There is a large enough Tesco a short drive from the farm which makes self catering a very practical and easy option. In our suite we had a log stove which was lovely to have burning in the evenings and the jacuzzi bath was a real self indulgence. Water pressure and temperature in the shower were good, towels and robes were provided, all nice touches. The TV signal was a little basic and the WIFI though stable isn't strong enough given the location to sustain streaming services however with stunning views of the Welsh Mountains this is easily forgiven.

The service was commendable, the small touches such as a welcome plate with local Welsh delicacies was well received. There was a welcome treat of freshly laid eggs and fresh milk waiting in the fridge. The best part of the visit was the presence of Pero the Sheep Dog who welcomed us on our arrival and always made himself known each day coming for a head rub before continuing around the farm. He was extremely well trained, never entering your suite and respecting your boundaries. A very lovely, family run accommodation providing a touch of elegance and luxury in the rural countryside and a very welcome dog too.

Just got back from this lovely place yesterday. Went with my boyfriend for the weekend(surprise for his birthday)and we loved it. The host has prepared it so nicely, candles, fireplace, little lights around the bed, heart shaped Welsh cookies,it was so romantic.Animals outside are so friendly, alpacas, goats, ponies, horses, chickens and of course Pero the most friendliest dog.In the fridge there was fresh milk and Paula was kind to bring us fresh eggs the next afternoon too. There is a very detailed folder inside with lots of information about the farm, animal feeding times, places to eat, etc,it's very helpful. Unfortunetely on Sunday we had to leave and were right in the middle of the storm Ciara, thank you to Paula for letting us stay 2 hours longer until the storm has calmed down. Everything was perfect, better than a hotel room! Cant wait to come back in the summer. Highly recommend!

Paula is the perfect host, she has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and restful. She was so welcoming on arrival, but not intrusive, the instructions for check in/out really clear. The lodge is beautifully decorated, silent and dark at night, in the most picturesque location (despite being really easy to access and find from the main road). Paula had left some home made welsh cakes for us on arrival, milk and eggs. Also a nespresso machine with capsules and basic tea/coffee facilities. The kitchen was so well stocked, really easy to use with a fabulous new oven. We could not fault this place. The robe and fluffy towels were perfect for using the jacuzzi bath and snuggling up in front of the fire. Where there is an opportunity for an added touch, this has been taken. We had a great rest whilst making the most of the great location of the farm - trips to Snowdon, Conwy, Caernarfon, Bangor, Llanberis, Anglesey and Llandudno all within easy reach. Gorgeous beaches just 20 mins away. No hesitation to recommend. We also very much appreciated Pero the dog! 🐶

This is our 3rd visit and we had a wonderful time again.
Paula is an amazing host, when feeding the animals in the morning, her door is always open for friendly advice or a chat.
Wonderful Welsh cakes & fruit loaf on arrival.
Plenty of cutlery & tableware in the small but well presented kitchen.
Good presentation throughout. The bathroom is a bit tired now but clean & fine for us.
My daughter loved the animals, in particular the Shetland ponies and Paula took time to help her with grooming them.
Nice run for me around the lake, about a mile away.
Fabulous setting but near enough to amenities/places of interest.
Such a special place in our hearts.
Wonderful memories made.

My wife and I, plus 2 dogs have just returned from 5 nights staying in the long barn. The accommodation is well presented, well maintained and has all the mod cons you would expect. The host Paula has gone the extra mile to make everyone's stay luxurious and peaceful.
Fabulous mountain views, wildlife and farm animals in abundance, with wonderful sunsets.
Very well-located for all Snowdonia has to offer, I would recommend staying here to anyone thinking of doing so.
We'd definitely return one day

Just got back from a lovely stay here. We arrived late at night to warm cottage complete with twinkly lights and homemade welsh cakes. Every thing is pristine and finished to a high standard. The bed & bedding was all really comfortable. Perfect for a quiet getaway from the city. Loved all the little touches like milk in the fridge. Would highly recommend.

Second visit to this luxury getaway, this time with a two year old. Stayed in long barn (4) and couldn’t fault a thing. Fresh cake and milk on arrival. Stunning views from the lounge and plenty of room to move about in, air-bath to rest those feet after walking up Snowdon,,,
It felt like home.
We all didn’t want to leave and I would like to say a massive thank you to Paula making our stay extra special, letting my daughter feed the animals, and walk the dog was lovely to see. It’s the little things that go away way.
We will be back.
My favourite place :0)

Stayed here for 3 nights. Everything was just superb. Loved the location, the views, friendly dog, feeding animals, accommodation with log fire, guide book, lovely electric adjustable bed, jacuzzi, superb kitchen etc. Had very relaxing time with wife to get away from busy life. Nice little town near by for food suplies and a coffee. Village next to the town has got nice costal walk. Strongly recommend for a nice short or long break.
