We have been hosted in this hotel just for one night in our road-trip to Madrid. They gave us a large room with a double bed a comfortable bathroom and an extra area with a living area with sofa-bed. We were three so it was perfect. The breakfast in bufet style was great with fruit, cheese, diferent bread, pastry, cold...

Just off the main arterial road on the way from France down to Spain we chanced upon this hidden gem. Wonderfully atmospheric in a modernised castle this clean, comfortable accommodation was all we needed right in the real Spain. Be aware that, due to its position at the top of the village, less mobile folk could struggle with surrounding slopes...

We spent a night here on our way up north. I'd never been to Ateca The rooms were clean and bright, the bathrooms shiny, the beds comfortable. The best part was the dinner at the restaurant, which was delicious. It's run very locally, not like a big mega corporate hotel chain, so expect people to be like people and not...

Rich breakfast, very friendly and helpful owner, good car parking (felt secure), working WiFi, nice view from the window, interesting old renovated building, convenient location for visiting "Monasterio de Piedra". There was some building works going on while we were staying so there was some noise. The room furniture felt like old, but it is OK considering the building itself...

Very friendly hotel, quality and food excellent. Staff all friendly, very pleasing. The down side is we left our car in the hotel car park and in the morning we found it had been deliberately vandalised. It was our 40th wedding anniversary so we had wanted something special. Now we will have to pay to have our car repaired through...

Nice atmosphere in this restored old castle. Modern rooms, nice staf; in small village located. Good price/ quality. A nice alternative for the 12 km far city. Not very much to do, but that can be very relaxing.

Stayed one very enjoyable night in this hotel in late September. It is situated at the top of the town and reached by some narrow streets. Owners are very friendly, room was clean and comfortable and overlooked the countryside to the rear of the hotel, the shower area was however a little cramped. We had an excellent evening meal and...

We were looking to stay on a place between Madrid and Zaragoza, not far from the main road, when we came accross the good TAs reviews about this place. I called the hotel in advance, just to be sure about internet and parking availability and was lucky to receive a better rate than the one advertised on a travel site....

Great night in Atega which is about 100 kms south from Zaragoza. We could see our hotel from the motorway and were immediately impressed, then we were made very welcome on our arrival by our host and sat in the courtyard for a well deserved cold beer after a day’s driving. Out and about through the narrow streets was fantastic...

This hotel is half way between Madrid and Zaragoza and is remarkable in many ways. We stayed there for 2 night, driving from Madrid Barajas Airport. The room was small but fine for us. Adolf the owner was very welcoming and took us and a Spanish couple for a visit to the Medieval Church a short distance away on the...
