My 3rd and most definitely not the last visit I’ll make to The Haven Lodge. Nell is the most wonderful, kind, thoughtful and most attentive host you’ll ever meet! A real homely farmhouse feel with free roaming chickens in the yard, tastefully decorated and dressed en suite rooms with comfortable warm beds and the best Irish breakfast you’ll ever eat! Nothing is ever too much trouble and Nell always goes above and beyond to make your stay a fabulous one. I’m already looking forward to my next visit! Thank you so much Nell x

I stayed here for 2 nights as I had a wedding in Horetown House. Nell was the most incredible host and she made us feel so welcome in her home. She went above and beyond to make our visit go as smooth as possible, from making coffees for us when we arrived after a long drive, dropping us to the wedding venue to collect our car and making the most delicious Irish fry. The rooms were a great size, very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Thanks again, Eadaoin & Teddy.

We enjoyed a three night stay at the Haven Lodge in August 2023. Ellen and Larry were very warm, welcoming, helpful, and accommodating. We had several great chats and learned interesting things about local history and farm life. Our room was clean and comfortable with a real farmhouse feel to it. While there, we were lucky enough to have two clear nights for stargazing and enjoyed good views of the Milky Way, planets, and meteors in the dark sky from the lovely front garden. Ellen even turned off the outside lights for us to improve the viewing. We would definitely return if in the area again!

Very hard to put into words how fantastic staying with Nell is. The kindness and care. The breakfast. The tea in the sitting room. Me raiding her bookshelf. The conversations that brought me back to another time and hoping to spend more time chatting of things present and past. If that pig ever goes missing from the yard, you ain't seen me right. 😃 Local Link driver take note.

I went down to South Wexford for business over August and September 2022 and had enormous difficulty sourcing b&b's. I was very lucky to find a place as accommodating and friendly as The Haven Lodge. Myself and my colleagues who stayed there found the place absolutely lovely and comfortable and we felt very lucky to have made contact. Ellen, who runs it, was also very supportive and flexible as our work changed and she was able to adapt quickly and was always available to talk on the phone with suggestions and recommendations for the area as our work needed. I do not think we would have had as straight forward a time as we did in Wexford without her help and we are very grateful

We enjoyed our stay very much, rooms and shower were as excellent as the breakfast. Ellen runs the B&B with great passions. She and her family are very friendly, her great hospitality is absolutely wonderful. Hopefully meet us next year again. The Haven Lodge was the best B&B in 2022.

We have just enoyed a wonderful stay with Ellen Colfer at her gorgeous bed and breakfast, The Haven Lodge. Ellen greeted us with tea and warm scones on our arrival and treated us like family. The breakfast each morning was delicious and her rooms are comfortable, clean and very cosy. But it was Ellen's warm and friendly character that really made our stay special. We found a little hidden treasure in County Wexford!
