First off the staff are incredibly friendly the service is also amazing. The Sunday Roast is cheap and I highly recommend it. As a former worker here I have to say the menu doesn't have enough variety. The pub during is always empty the tables need cleaning and the walls need another paint. The tables are also a fire hazard....

First of all. I feel there is a bit of bitterness because you got fired due to not turning up for work because you are tired. Also i think your on about the manager not the owner. Should really have your facts right before you write reviews online to try and hurt this business due to your lack of work....

A pub which does B&B in a series of rooms in an annex away from the main pub building. Room comfortable and clean, but not lavish. On suite bathroom a bit spartan but OK. Not bad for the price and location. Great breakfast is included. Free parking. Would definitely stay again.

This hotel was ideal being only 20 minutes from the main shopping area and the airport. Bus stops only a short walking distance. Breakfast and dinner was all served with good quality food. However, the rooms were very tired and need upgrading. All staff including the owner were very friendly and helpful.

We popped in for something to eat, the staff although polite and friendly seemed very unsure and not particularly well trained. We were shown through to a back room, and they explained how a Carvery works there. That's fine, but maybe mention that this is all there is and there isn't a menu on a Sunday. But most importantly say...

I am sorry your experience at our Carvery wasn't a good one. We currently have a lot of regulars which is why this surprises me. The main reason we only run the Carvery on a Sunday till 3-4 pm is because it gets very busy. I hope you will give us another try. Thanks for your input.

The best part is it is vintage, it is small, it has a nice pub (if you want an old English experience) and the owner herself is at hand if it comes to that. Very friendly and they would go out of their way to help you "personally". There aren't many rooms and the rooms are basic but it is...

Set just outside of the town keeps the price down. The pub is really old, with the room´s having been added on in the garden. The rooms were clean and modern, with a great breakfast to be had in the morning. We left the car in the car park and took the bus into town. The bus stop was a 3...

I came down to Cambridge with family for a graduation ceremony and wanted to stay outside the centre where it was quieter and more reasonably priced. In terms of the rooms and location I would say that the Lord Byron Inn is certainly value for money - the rooms are relatively basic but have all the necessary facilities we required...
