This is the second year my wife and I have stayed at this B&B which should give some indication that it really is a great place to stay. Alyson the main person you'll see a wonderful charming woman who gives every impression that you are her guest and not an inconvenience, she really makes you feel welcome. The location is...

Thank you for taking the time to write such a comprehensive review Neil. I'm pleased you and Pat enjoyed your second stay at Harvest View. With regards to your suggestion of 2 sausages and 2 rashers of bacon with the full English breakfast I would be more than happy to cook and serve this for you if you stay again....

We chose to stay outside the busy city of Cambridge and Harvest View, within a stone's throw of the city and within very easy access of the Park and Ride, was an inspired choice. The welcome was warm, the accommodation was clean, comfortable, well equipped and just right. We are not hot breakfasters, but the choice of other things was...

We stayed for three nights in the Garden room which had a very comfortable king size bed and ensuite shower room. Alyson was very helpful in showing us how to access the cycle path to Cambridge and we were able to walk there each day and rarely used the car. The house is very well placed if you would like...

I had the pleasure of staying in this superb B&B for 3 nights on a recent trip to England. I had selected the property largely based upon TA reviews and it did not dissapoint. Echoing the other reviews, I found Harvest View to be outstanding in all respects. Review as follows: Room: Four rooms at the B&B (2 single, 2...

Alison was an immaculate hostess, ensuring that we were comfortable (turning on the heater cuz we were cold), cooking our breakfasts, providing helpful travel tips, etc. the rooms were tip top, clean, cosy and comfortable. The location cannot be beat! Overlooking a field, nestled in a corner of a cul de sac, Harvest View is a sanctuary!

A very comfortable room, well-equipped bathroom and good breakfast within very easy reach of Cambridge. We would certainly consider staying here again, and might even bring bikes to take advantage of the cycle path to the city!

Thank you for taking the time to write a review about your weekend at Harvest View. I'm so pleased you enjoyed your stay here. Do come again, and bring your bikes next time. It's a beautiful ride into Cambridge on the off-road path.

Just returned from a three night stay at Harvest View. We had a wonderful time and everything was first class. Will return again in the near future. Alyson made us very welcome and the breakfast was wonderful. Coton is a lovely village and an ideal base for exploring Cambridge and the surrounding area.

We had a wonderful two nights stay at Harvest View. The beautiful house is situated at the end of the village, almost surrounded by fields. We spent two nights at Harvest View towards the end of our trip to the UK. Very comfortable, great hospitality, delicious breakfasts...and a very relaxing/restful location. It is maybe a 5-10 minute drive to Cambridge and 10-15 for Duxford, which were our two main stops during our time at Harvest View, but located in the quiet village of Coton, which...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Harvest View is a small, friendly bed and breakfast situated 3 miles from Cambridge city centre. We opened in February 2011 and are a very popular place to stay. We have a double room with king sized bed, a double room with double bed and a single room. All our rooms are furnished to a high standard with en-suite shower rooms, flat screen TVs and tea and coffee making facilities. There is a varied breakfast menu which includes fresh fruit and Greek yoghurt, a selection of cereals, full English and continental breakfasts as well as a daily special. Breakfast is served in our beautiful orangery which offers open views across pretty farmland. In our first Food Hygiene Inspection by the local council (July 2012) we scored 5 stars = Excellent. We recognise the importance of environmental conservation and we endeavour to keep our impact on the environment to a minimum. We therefore operate a minimum 2 night stay policy to assist in reducing the level of detergents, water and energy used for laundry. Harvest View is the ideal Bed and Breakfast from which to explore the historic city of Cambridge. Walkers and cyclists will be in their element in our delightful countryside. We are well located for the University's West Cambridge site, Addenbrookes and Papworth Hospitals and the Cambridge Science Park. We look forward to welcoming you to Harvest View. ... more   less
