great little place - a true watering hole in the middle of the wilds. Friendly staff, great little bar, a really nice feeling about the place. Nice camping space - loads of room for each pitch (easy to get camping bakkie in there, good light, good showers etc.) Only thing knocking down from 5* is that the braai facilities were...

Our stay with Brandberg Rest Camp was very good. It was extremely hot!!! when we arrived and to cool down we take a long swim in the big swimming pool before we start with our camp. We have a Braai. The next morning we went out to The Brandberg at the White Lady to see the Berg.

We had a nice and enjoyable stay over at the rest camp. Friendly, very knowledgeable owner took us out on sunset drive to old tin mine, worth it trip. Family room clean but very warm. Rustic accommodation was good and glad that it was part of our wonderful Nam experience.

Uis is a small place, formerly a tin mine. Basil's Brandberg Rest Camp offers rooms as well as a camp site. It's pool is the center of the courtyard and worth a refreshing dip. Rooms are very nice and well maintained. A/C and coffee making facilities are provided. Breakfast with cooked to order dishes and small buffet. When you go...

Take the sunset trip you will be amazed what you can see! Brandberg Rest Camp is an oasis after traveling in dust and corrugation for the whole day. The food, service and rooms are excellent if you consider how far away Uis is from the rest of the world.

The Brandberg Rest Camp is situated in the centre of Uis. The central location is ideal for visiting the White Lady at Brandberg mountain (45min by car) or the desert elephants. The rooms are clean and nice, the meals very delicious and the staff is really friendly! So 100% recommendation !!!

Brandenburg Rest Camp is a nice stopping point on the way from Swakopmund to Etosha National Park. Beware of the gravel roads and flat tires. The rooms were comfortable and clean. It was nice to get away from the gem hawkers in the compound.

Loved the old school bar with the beer collection from around the world, outdoor spaces were enjoyable, camping spots were clean and loved the beach sand and trees. Whole place is in need of some serious maintenance.
