The hotel offers a free transfer service to the railway station and the airport. There are hotel buttons near the bus station at the airport so you can call them and you will be picked up. They are very friendly, polite and obliging. You are supposed to book the transfer once you are in the hotel, but they try to accomodate you, and we never had to wait long.
Katia, the receptionist, was very helpful. She organized an early check in for us and minded our luggage on our last day. You can store your luggage in a paid locker if you wish, or at the reception. She also gave us excellent tourist advice.
The only downside to the hotel is the breakfast. On a weekday it was just basic but OK, but on a Sunday, there was shortage of everything. When we came down there was no bread, na bacon, no croissants, and we had to wait quite a while to get them replenished. We were not in a hurry, but if you are, it could be a problem. The dirty dishes were not removed, either. We had to put them on a nearby table. This aspect can definitely be improved.
The rooms and the bathroom were clean, but bear in mind that there is very little storage space. There is a ketlle, and tea and instant coffe were there upon the arrival.

Check in was efficient especially after being up at 4am (3am local time ) and not getting to the hotel until 5pm. My room (117) was sort of a mini suite with a living room/work area and kitchenette. And bathroom/bedroom. Both the major rooms had large TV’s although there was minimal English speaking channels and you could only find the occasional English speaking TV program.
The hotel offers a shuttle to the airport a few km’s away. There’s little in walking distance to the hotel so you will need to use taxi or hire car to get around
I checked in with someone called Emma at the reception desk and she is not very nice… l get the impression she does not like her job; very short and off hand… why do we have to pay the hotel upon check in and not when you check out… I travel for business all the time and no other hotel does this. What also annoyed me was the fact l am a Platinum Elite Member and stay a lot of the time in IHG hotels and Hilton Hotels around the world and one of the benefits is breakfast is included in my stays… but no not at the Holiday Inn which is a part of IHG! Why is this? You know l will have to think more of staying at the Hilton Hotel now, l never get all this hassle.
I ordered a meal last night… a simple burger and l asked for it to be well done… it came pink in the middle so the waiter got me another one and again still pink in the middle… what is happening 😠 l could not eat it (l don’t want food poisoning)…and l was still charged for it: the waiter apologised but come on it is not his fault he said he stressed ‘well done’ so of course l am not happy!
Lastly, what l have found is the pillows in France is not good… Holiday Inn you need to change these as they are lumpy and not comfortable… l woke up this morning with my neck hurting due to this..
I am quite a positive person and treat people with respect and honesty but in this case l have to voice my opinion… and not stay at another Holiday Inn again in France.

The rooms are not clean, bathrooms especially. They smell musty and mouldy and you can see mould coming through the painted ceilings. See pictures.
Cheap but I always expect clean. This was not.
The employees at the reception were extremely customer unfriendly. Then, when I arrived to pick them up, finally the manager settled the taxi costs. This hotel was entirely against my expectations, not worth 4 stars ****. Customer unfriendly, not helpful, not open for any feedback to improve their services. We won't stay here again unfortunately.
