Key points for me were: 1. Ski hire location in ski room of hotel - the shop comes to you rather than having to lug boots down in to town then come back with skis, sticks and boots 2. Excellent boot room for drying and warming boots for next day - could also hang coats, salopettes and helmets to dry...

I stayed here for 6 nights on a skiing trip. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the slopes. The staff are friendly and the breakfast is lovely! The rooms are well kept and very traditional. My only criticism is the main receptionists English is very limited which caused a few issues with directions!

We stayed just for one night (Group of 10 friends) as a stop over before our Chalet was ready. We arrived late in the day but the bar was open so we were happy. We were shown to our rooms which were very good and nicely presented. The hotel had great facilities and the bar stayed open until late. Access...

Stayed four days for a family ski break. A lovely comfortable hotel with helpful staff. The Pool was a real winner with our 7 year old - who loved going in it after a day of ski-ing. Breakfast was a traditional buffet style selection of cold meats, cheese and bread and pastries as well as fruit , yogurt, cereal and...

We have an annual boys trip, which this year we decided to return to Morzine, and through a friend of a friend were recommended the Petit Dru. The hotel is a reasonable size, but with nice facilities. The rooms are typical of a French Alps resort, comfortable not plush. The twin room we had had a fantastic view with balcony,...

Stayed four days for a ski break. A lovely comfortable hotel with really helpful staff. Breakfast was a feast. Kettle and tea making tackle in the room, which was nice to have when all you want to do is flop after a day's skiing (tea bags only, you can get milk from the bar). A short walk from the centre...

We've spent a long weekend at le Petit Dru. The hotel is on the edge of town but it's a pleasant walk into the centre. The staff were very welcoming and happy to help with our requests. Our family room was a good size, warm, comfortable and clean. There's a pleasant bar with amble seating in the lounge area and...

Great location and the owners could not be more helpful if you are after any local information. Fantastic positioning and a truly lovely hotel. Rooms are clean and tidy and very warm. They are however very small as are the bathrooms. Breakfast is a decent french continental with plenty of food. Bar is good and staff are excellent. It's a bit of a walk to the lifts and the route in and out of the hotel can be treacherous.
