Recommended by a friend, I have just returned from a week in Le Sporting and three of us will be returning in 10 days time. Quite frankly, I wonder what some people require from a ski resort hotel or if they simple enjoy being negative. I am fortunate to have skied in many locations, staying in a variety of accommodation...

For a 3 star hotel during high season it is very, very expensive. On top, Wifi is not gratis in 2015..., the sauna is very small and has, besides one only shower, not a room to relax or at least a chair to do so..we had to get to our room to shower...the "ski-room" is about 7 square meters and...

Just returned from Morzine and a stay at the Hotel Sporting. A friendly family run hotel, in an excellent location, across the street from a button lift which takes you to the Pleney lift and ski back to the hotel at the end of the day. The bus stop outside goes to Avoriaz. The food was delicious, breakfast buffet which...

I have just returned from a weeks stay at the Sporting and found it to be a wonderful place. Very friendly family run with generous portions of good food and a nice wine selection. My only gripe and it is a minor one is that the bath in our room was very small, this however was easily remedied by making...

My wife and I have just returned from a great weeks skiing and stayed at Hotel Sporting. Really enjoyed the experience, super friendly owners, really good food and a very handy location for the Plenney Lift. We drove from UK which took about 11 hours from Calais - the last 20 miles taking over 2 hours as a long procession...

We have just returned from a week skiing in Morzine and stayed at the Hotel Sporting. Morzine is pretty and a lot of the buildings are based on wooden Swiss chalets. Hotel Sporting was lovely, very characterful, it was warm and comfortable. We had a very nice welcome from the owners and were shown to our room number 12 Bis...

Not a great exercise in marketing. We called in to ask if there was a possibility of watching the tennis final the next day and have a drink. An abrupt response, of " no residents only, use the bars in Morzine". Tone wrong, unhelpful and missed the €90 we spent elsewhere on the day. A reply of " we are...
