Very clean. Beds are comfortable. Lots of space in room. Could not hear highway in room. Bathroom was immaculate. Enough room for a playpen and space for kids to play and run around. Now that we know this is a clean hotel option, we will definitely stay here again as we pass through. Ate breakfast at a&w Greasy fast and good!

Clean and bigger than I thought. Not much more you can ask for in a hole-in-the wall town like this. Jacuzzi tub was huge! Virgin mobile has no cell service here, though, but really, we lost it somewhere near Sault-Ste-Marie and didn't get it back until Thunder Bay.

We Pre Booked a week or so in advance of our travel to the area for professional obligations in the region and have stayed at many hotels in the region while working. The day we arrived it was a snowy cold miserable night to be traveling so knowing this was our sanctuary for the night I was reluctant but optimistic about the prospects, Upon arrival I was greeted by the new guy at the front desk who was training for the job and was pleasant and courteous while confirming our reservation for the night. I asked the gentleman to direct me to the wheelchair accessible entrance as my co worker is in a power chair, It was at that point a friendly lady who I later realized was the owner had offered to show us to the room and the best entrance to use. The owner had walked us to our room and directed us to the restaurant, I had an excellent Hot Beef Sand with fries and my coworker had a steak we also ordered a bottle of wine to go with our meal and thoroughly enjoyed the food and warm cozy restaurant. Our room was clean and mostly accessible all but the bath tub and the door to the parking area, The internet was a bonus and cable tv was nice. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling in the area.

Another note the Owner should fix up the Spa or Build a Sauna for Cold Travelers, As it is the north and its always cold!

OMG what an absolute dump. When we open the door to the room we rented it smelled like weed and a urinal.
There were some type of liquid on the bedside table. Crumbs in the bed, and the room just looked gross.
Went to the office to Tell the staff member what we had walked into and she moved us to another room.
The other room was not better. This hotel is incredibly dated. Very run down.
Got a complete refund. Thank goodness the hotel across the street had an opening. So if you're looking for a motel in White River, I suggest going to the White River motel. That's where we spent the night and it was very nice. Staff was absolutely fantastic. Highly recommended

It's convenient to be able to park outside your door. The heater/air conditioner unit is very quiet. But the beds are terrible. I managed to sleep for 4 hours before I woke up in pain. The mattresses are so hard and the springs are worn out. The box springs are filthy. Time to replace them and not with the cheapest crap you can find.

After a long hot day of riding, I finally arrived to town. At first, I went to White River motel on the same side but there was no one at the reception so I decided to cross the street and check out Continental. I am glad I did. The girl at the reception was friendly and efficient. She also gave me a little bit of discount. The room is spacious with a jacuzzi. Bed is comfortable and big screen tv. The WiFi is fast. Small town so walking distance to stores, restaurants. If I come back to visit, I definitely stay here again.

The mattress was so old my feet were elevated. Wifi was intermittent. Heard the guy snoring all night in the room beside me. Overall, pass especially considering the $100.00 price tag. I booked online because I was worried I would n't find anything - there are tons along the route if you just keep going.

There are only two hotels in White River and this s a small town so I wasn't expecting a grandiose room. I chose this one because it had a restaurant associated with it. The first room we had was in the older part of the hotel. The room was dark, the place to hang your clothes looked as though the hangers were supplied by whatever past guests had left behind. The bathroom fixture was two bare fluorescent bulbs. I felt like I was going to have to sleep on top of the bedclothes. There was no wi-fi. When my wife complained about the room we were moved to the new wing. It was a much better room, but it did not have to do much to be better. This wing at least had wi-fi. We left the next morning without showering.
