My wife and I had an incredible stay for a week. We toured two different beaches and learned how to surf. We ate great food and stayed in our own casita with small kitchen and had great morning coffee and hammock time daily. The afternoon rain finally came and cooled things down and it was an incredible week. I will...

We had a great stay at Rancho Cecilia. Very peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. Our room was very comfortable and clean and had all the amenities we needed. We enjoyed laying out in the hammocks on the porch. Liz and Scott were great hosts -- they took us to the beach and cooked us delicious meals! Wish we could have stayed for...

We enjoyed coffee in the hammocks on the ranch before heading out everyday to some very fun waves along the Pacific coast of Nicaragua. Scott and Liz and their dogs are half sea creatures so if you love the water, they are the perfect hosts. The area around San Juan del Sur is beautful hills and jungle, and Rancho Cecelia...

My boyfriend and I stayed at Rancho Cecilia in late April to early May with another couple. We rented out both houses and found them to be perfect for what we were looking for. The ranch is just a short drive from an awesome beach for surfing (Playa Madera). The houses were clean and comfortable with all of the necessary...

Amazing surf instruction! Liz has a beautiful B&B as well. I didn't stay there but saw it. Very clean, beautiful grounds, very quiet. Her and her husband are great hosts. They know Nic very well, they can provide great suggestions on things to do and how to make the most of your vacation. If you're heading to Nicaragua and interested...

I did not stay at Liz's B&B, but I took a few surf sessions with her. She's a great teacher!! Their service was amazing... I was staying with a friend a bit up the road from the beach and they provided pick up in a truck, surf boards, rash guards for those who needed, and drop off. Timing was flexible...

We stayed at Rancho Cecilia at the end of February as a group of four girls. The place is definitely off the grid! It's only accessible by 4x4 and takes about 15 min drive to get to the nearest beach and about 20-30 min drive into town. There's a lot of great things about the place, but you can read...
