We booked several months in advance for a group of friends to stay for a weekend. Quiet on arrival but we were then shown our own little separate area to setup as friends arrived over the afternoon; it was perfect grass almost completely flat. The family could not have been more friendly and helpful despite lots going on for them in the background and the toilet/shower facilities are some of the best we've encountered on a campsite. The weather was kind to us which made it a fantastic weekend overall. We shall certainly be back as its in a great location to get out and explore the surrounding countryside.

I just want to say, I personally highly recommend this beautiful Welsh campsite, it has everything you need to food essentials to clean facilities, which is located in the valley. Friendly owners and beautiful views. It’s an ideal location for families and if you want to travel to Wales to visit it’s heritages or attractions. One of the world’s famous waterfalls is only roughly 5 minutes up the road. I’d definitely be visiting in the near by future.

If you are looking for somewhere with the WOW factor we highly recommend considering a stay at Erwbarfe. We’ve had a caravan there for a while and at the end of every visit it’s still hard to say goodbye. The location is stunning nestled into the hills above the gorge. The toilet and shower facilities are excellent and the owners very friendly with a shop on site and always happy to help. Recommend a look at Devils Bridge falls and the Hafod Hotel just down the road with views over the falls or jump on the scenic mountain railway from Devils Bridge into town. There is the red kite visitors centre not far away to experience the red kites being fed and enjoy the cafe. There are loads of walks around the area to suit all abilities. Aberystwyth is 12 miles away and worth exploring in particular the donut stand on the sea front ! Well worth a visit. Can’t wait for our next visit.

There was 10 of us who stayed for three nights camping, we had a lovely time. The campsite of beautiful, it’s well planned out, the shower and washroom facilities are great with a shop on site. The owners are very nice and friendly and held a free BBQ on jubilee weekend, the food and atmosphere was great followed by a game of rounders adults v’s the kids. We will definitely stay there again.
Thank you and all the best.

Thank you so much for your great review! Glad you enjoyed the half-term week with us and that you all joined in the Jubilee BBQ! It was a great event on park, lovely to see a mix of static customers and campers! We hope to see you again with us in the future at Erwbarfe.

Erwbarfe is quite simply our little piece of heaven. Our caravan has been sited here for two and a half years now and it has been brilliant. We have two young boys who love the freedom of having grass to play on and usually a few other children knocking around to kick a ball with. The shower facilities in the touring field are excellent and Priscilla, Bryn and their boys went out of their way to help us when we got caught in a storm on our third week here! An awesome site, run by superb and caring owners. The location is amazing for walks, beach days and exploring some lovely towns. Whether it’s for a short stay or to site your van, if you come and stay, you won’t be disappointed.

We have been staying here for the last 6 years as we love riding Nant-y-Arian. The site is really convenient for the trail centre. Priscilla and her family always look after us and nothing is too much trouble. The campsite is also close enough to be able to ride to the pub in the evening for dinner. Good facilities and friendly people, what more would you want. As for MTB'ers if you enjoy Llandellga etc but prefer less crowds this place is amazing. Brilliant blue and red runs

Lovely visit to a family friendly site in half term. Children were able to enjoy the open grass space to play. The toilet block and facilities were modern and new, and were kept spotless. A great position for amazing views looking down the valley, ideal for visiting local attractions on Devil’s Bridge and only 20 minutes into Aberystwyth. We throughly enjoyed our stay.

Snuggled in a valley in Wales. This beautiful camp site is well looked after by the very friendly owners. Fantastic views all around of mountains. We visited during August during a heatwave. The toilets and shower blocks are very well maintained and very clean. Camped on a small incline, however this was no problem as you hardly noticed it. Lots of friendly people staying, lots of BBQ and fire pits are allowed. The shop is very small and needs a liquor license, something that the owners themselves suggested that they are thinking about. About 20mins to Aberystwyth along a winding road with amazing views of the county side. All in all a fantastic stay

Our 10th year with Priscilla and Bryn, visiting as a 4x4 club. As always a warm welcome, wonderful site and five star facilities. We have several camping weekends in the UK but this is the only place I use the showers as mist places are not clean enough. No such problems here, the shower & toilets are spotless. Looking forward to our 11th visit in 2022. (On behalf of Like Minded Laners).

Group of 6 4x4 stayed for one night. The best campsite we used throughout our trip. The owners are so friendly! Toilets/showers/wash rooms are spot on. Nice clean and modern. Can't recommend it enough!
