Stayed here when attending a friends wedding. Whilst the wedding was lovely the room we stayed in was a let down. In a nutshell: All lights in room didn't work. Dated furniture Dirty grubby marks on the walls Stained vanity chair Mould in bathroom Rubbish from previous guests still in the bin - beer bottle, crisp packets, tea bags !!...

Please note, this should be Daresbury - not Baresbury The Hotel has great facilities for a wedding or large fuctions and is quite impressive on arrival. The rooms are quite nice, although perhaps smaller than expected, but the quality of the breakfast was well below standard. This appears to portray itself as a more high-end Hotel, but in reality it...

This Daresbury Park Hotel is no longer with De Vere but is managed by Britannia Hotels. We booked a weekend inclusive package only to find it was not much like any hotel I know, but more like a people processing and storage facility. It is very tired, perhaps completely worn out. The room could be good with a little TLC....

After seeing how awesome the Warrington Village Hotel was and bearing in mind the De Vere head office is based here; I had high hopes for this stay. But sadly, this modern and ordinary building lacks the character of a De Vere hotel. Yes the food was excellent. But it was so empty, with such slow service in places like...

Unfortunately my husband and I were very disappointed with this hotel. At £130 a night excluding breakfast is was very poor. The room was extremely hot and made a poor nights sleep. We went into the bar and found we were surrounded by loud football on lots of screens. In addition our table which we moved twice were dirty and...

I have stayed here several times over the last year because my head office is a five minute walk. Given the choice I try to stay at the holiday inn Runcorn, which is one junction further along the m56. Believe me this place is in serious need of refurbishment. The bar, restaurant and leisure facilities are fine. It's the rooms....
