Second time here, and such a high level of service consistent with our last visit. Most beautiful surroundings, wonderful hosts and comfort to boot. Expensive but one of my favourite indulgences. Stewart and Marilyn create a very informal atmosphere whilst retaining a very professional service, and boy do I love his music.

A great B&B. The rooms are modern, clean and cosy with excellent amenities. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They offered plenty of advice for places to visit and they went out of their way to help my wife and I celebrate our first wedding anniversary. The breakfast is lovely with a great selection and the Cornish Full English...

Located over looking the river Fal, the hotel is in a tranquil and beautiful location. The room and en-suite were large, immaculately clean, and equipped to a very high standard. The service provided was excellent, helpful, friendly and attentive. The breakfast was cooked to order and delicious. A perfect break!

I stayed at the Old Vicarage during my trip to Cornwall in June, and it was perfect! My room overlooking the River Tressillian had a very comfortable bed, a place to sit and read and watch the river, and an incredible bathroom. Delicious breakfasts are served in the conservatory-like room downstairs that is open for a glass of wine after...

We had a wonderful four night stay in the Old Vicarage. It's off the beaten track in a gloriously tranquil setting overlooking the tidal river and by the lovely old church of St Clements. Opera lovers may be interested to know that this marks the site of the setting of the story of Tristan and Isolde/Iseult. The room and en suite...

We stayed for 3 nights at The Old Vicarage for a friend's wedding. It was absolutely beautiful and such a find! The location is right on a beautiful estuary where you can walk to a lovely village called Malpas (the Heron Inn is great). Nothing was too much trouble and we were made to feel welcome without being in the...

Made special by the friendliness of Marilyn and John the proprietors. A return visit is a must. The breakfast room is superb and everyone feels relaxed in the owner's company. We met another couple at breakfast and have exchanged contacts. Something we have never done before in a B&B - and just from having great conversations over breakfast.
