I have stayed at mannings in the past and when i come down to truro i make sure i stay here. Not only are the staff friendly and make you feel welcome, they give that extra bit of touch. Unlike some hotels. There are three floors, with all good size rooms. The rooms are clean, tidy and light. Bathrooms are...

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel in a year. The staff are very welcoming and everything is smoothly dealt with. Great decor and the service in the bar and restaurant was very good. We ate in the restaurant and found the food not as good as the rest of the hotel. The Venison was overcooked...

Overall the hotel was very nice - smart, modern and good staff. The room itself was very small which was a disappointment as I was expecting something a bitmore luxurious. The included breakfast was continental, and of good quality. Excellent location - although I was a bit outraged to be charged £6 for secure parking at check out - it...

Stayed one night at this hotel on 25 Feb 2015. On arriving at the hotel I was let into the car park which was pretty busy. The hotel is situated in the town centre and is not the easiest place to access. At reception, I was told I was being upgraded. The room was large and seemed clean. The bed...

Called into Mannings for a lunch with colleagues on Monday this week. A little unexpectedly the restaurant became very busy for a Monday lunchtime, but as on previous visits the food was excellent and the service was welcoming, friendly and professional, despite the lunch time rush. I recommend Mannings for lunch - any day of the week. Well worth a...

Thanks for a lovely stay! Check in was quick and easy, rooms were a good size and comfortable! A great base to visit Truro! Would definitely stay again. Food/drinks were amazing! The waitress who served us was very good at her job and made us feel very welcomed. Thanks

My boyfriend and I stayed from 1 February until 3rd as we went to see Seth Lakeman at The Hall For Cornwall. This hotel could not be better placed for the HFC which is just a few steps from the hotel. I emailed the hotel, in advance, about not having good mobility for stairs and needing a walk in shower....

We recently stayed at Mannings for a second time and found it was even better than the first time. Really friendly and helpful staff, especially Karen on reception and Lucy, Tom and Ester in the restaurant. The weekend 'M Club' deal offered great value for money - special room rate and complimentary cocktails, plus we given welcome drinks' vouchers to...

We have been using Mannings (also when it was The Royal) for around 30 years, generally lunching there around 3 or 4 times a month, dinner around 5 times a year and the odd over night stay, so you could say we enjoy it! We stayed for the night on 24th January for our anniversary. I got a very good...

I stayed here while attending a funeral on the 23rd January 2014. The hotel staff were kind , helpful and rooms were very clean. Beds were comfortable and linen clean and soft. I would return in happier times.
