We stayed at Cliftons for 3 nights recently and were really pleased that we picked this place. The hosts were incredibly helpful, the room was perfectly equipped, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The breakfasts were freshly cooked and delicious. There was plenty of choice too. Especially loved the fresh fruit salad. It was an easy 10 minute walk into the...

We came across cliftons by chance and were highly impressed and would thoroughly recommend staying here if you get the chance. Peter and Norbert run a beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean establishment topped off with possibly the best breakfast we have had in the many places we have stayed in over the years. We were staying for 3 nights while attending...

We travelled to Truro to run the half marathon and stayed at Cliftons for two nights . The room was clean and the bed was comfortable just what we needed after running 13.1 miles . Peter and Norbert provided a fine breakfast all sourced locally including lovely jams. We hope to return

We spent 8 days at Cliftons and were delighted with the hospitality. Peter beavers away behind the scenes cooking up breakfasts to suit all tastes. They range from the traditional full English to a more restrained smoked salmon and eggs, or croissants, or pains au chocolate. I particularly liked the fresh fruit salad and the berries which were available every...

We used Cliftons as a base for excursions to various sights in Cornwall, and we were grateful for the good advice we got from our excellent hosts. Had room No. 5 which is lovely and has a beautiful view of garden and town. Breakfast was delicious, you could walk to town in a few minutes, there is free parking at...

Also lovely, friendly owners Peter and Norbert who were really welcoming and are just two great people! I stayed here for two nights whilst working near Truro and it was fabulous! The room was light, bright and spotlessly clean. Lovely bed linen, soft fluffy towels, tea, biscuits etc... Everything had been thought of. There was parking which is brilliant for a B&B so close to the city centre. The hosts Peter & Norbert are so lovely, very...

Cliftons is reasonably priced for a stay in Truro. It has parking which is a plus and handy for walking into town. We had a downstairs bedroom which was comfortable with a small ensuite. It was spotless if a little tired. Could do with some fresh paint as a little worn looking. The breakfast was excellent.
