My wife and I stayed at Longlands for two nights on the 19/20th June and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The bedroom was lovely with a very nice bathroom and shower, and the whole hotel had a very friendly atmosphere to it. The staff were all happy and conversation flowed easily. They were very obliging and nothing was too much trouble. We stayed B&B but had an evening meal there on one night. The breakfasts were delicious and very nicely cooked and served, and the evening meal was very nice too. We would love to return there again and probably will in the near future.

I've just enjoyed a four nights stay in one of the cottages at this remarkable place. The cottage was extremely well kitted out, clean and very comfortable I really couldn't have asked for more. I took some meals at the Inn and these were of a high standard and reasonably priced. Best of all the staff are really friendly and helpful, even when under pressure. I was always made to feel welcome. The star of the show is Rob the manager who runs things like clockwork but always has time for a chat and is keen to ensure that his guests are happy. Tewitfield is a canal-side location so there are plenty of walks within a few yards of the Inn and the stunning scenery of the Lakes and Dales are within but a short drive away. As I write I am planning another trip and really looking forward to another stay at the Longlands.

We revisited this wonderful place following our excellent experience last September. Everything is as previously stated in my last review. The staff make you feel like family. The hotel is having a refurbishment starting next January and we will definitely return when that is finished.

My son had his wedding reception at the Longlands on the 19th of June after the lockdown period but still in covid regulations. The regulations are strange for management and customers .The regs where clearly explained to us all and the day went off like a dream . The service and hotel are top notch. I could only mark them 9/10 because there where no seconds for the chocolate mousse. We stayed overnight ,the accommodation was superb very clean and comfortable Breakfast was excellent plenty of choice and cooked to perfection.I am not just conveying my experience but the guests as well. I WOULD LIKE TO THANK MR BARRY ROBINSON AND ALL HIS STAFF OF WHICH HE SHOULD BE VERY PROUD A VERY BIG THANK YOU.!! I have stayed in 5 star hotels all over the world and this is as good as it gets

Special thanks to the chef Mark Seanson for a lovely meal tonight. We were especially pleased by his adaptation of the sharing platter to meet out dietary requirements. Amazing portions, pity we'd no room for a pudding! Also amazing service from our waitress thanks 😘
