The food was very nice, myself and my partner both thoroughly enjoyed it. High quality food, and delicious vegetarian options. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. Great atmosphere, would definitely come here again.

Dined here between Christmas and new year with family for a treat. Great food great atmosphere and good service. The menu had something for everyone meals and snack, although snacks were a great size. The toddler had the child's platter which he loved only thing he left was a pat of butter!

Called in for a drink and possibly a bite to eat after a 5 mile walk. The pub was not serving anything except pizza - which was fine as it was after 3pm. We ordered drinks and pork scratchings only to find the scratchings out of date once we had sat down. My husband returned to the bar where he...

Firstly we got double booked which caused endless stress for us, they were good enough to offer a good discount but we had to change the date which wasn't...

We took mum for Christmas lunch. It was everything we expected it to be. Fabulous food. We had smoked Haddock Bon Bon, roast Turkey, and chocolate delice. Superb. The service was really good too. The place was very busy but the staff didn't falter. Excellent.

Friendly and efficient staff who went the extra mile. Stayed in a cottage, with excellent facilities. Despite being close to the M6 there was no road noise. Dog friendly. The restaurant was better than expected. catering for families, it nevertheless served food that was well presented and served. In particular the green veg. was cooked perfectly, not boiled t death...

Stayed in room 9 - excellent. Absolutely spotless, great big bed, cracking shower. Really good breakfast too, which makes a change. Although its essentially a big pub and restaurant, the rooms feel like somewhere much posher. Reasonably priced too. Would recommend.
