One nite stopover from Toronto to Halifax.Located 1minute from the TCH.What a great great little hotel.Traveling with our pooch and this hotel is very dog friendly. This hotel has 2 buildings separated by a warehouse. We were in the main hotel that has only 2 stories. We were in room 105 at the end of the hall with an exit right outside our... It is always easy to find an expensive hotel room with excellent service. However to find a smaller motel that offers good value is always a treat. The Econo Lodge in Saint Apollinaire offers a good size room that is neat and roomy enough, but is close to the highway. We stayed in the motel not the main Econo Lodge... More

We were surprised to find out we were booked into another building, which is not attached to the main hotel. The room was large and clean, and breakfast was included, as well as parking and WIFI. There are few places to walk to and you kind of feel like your are on your own in the small building as there... More

On our annual trips from Ontario to Cape Breton and back we regularly stop at this Econo Lodge. We travel with our chocolate lab and like motels/hotels with ground level units and nearby places to walk the dog. The St. Apollinaire franchise fits the bill. My only disappointment this time was that they have raised the charge for pets to... More

Me and my family booked this online at Priceline.com website and we are very happy with the service we got at the hotel. The staff even though speaks French but is very helpful. The lady at the front desk appeared to be in her first week at the job as she said so too but was very pleasant helpful and... More

This Econo Lodge was very nice. We don't speak French & were a little apprehensive about going in, but the staff were all bilingual & very helpful. The gentleman that was on in the morning was wonderful & had lots of good information to share with us. the Lodge itself was clean & the rooms were better than my expectations.

We arrived at the Econolodge with a reservation in the auxiliary building, a remodeled motel that is just down the street from the hotel building. We appreciated being able to park at our door. The rate was comparable to other hotels in this class and area, and the location was convenient for us. The room door was difficult to hold... More

A friend of mine and I stopped here around 10:30pm in the middle of a rainstorm on the first day of our road trip from London to Halifax and were greeted with hospitable staff and a very clean, nice room. The beds are a bit firm for my own taste, but by no means uncomfortable. Definitely would recommend to anyone... More

Our second visit to this hotel. We booked into the secondary building (former motel) that has been totally updated. Clean. Unfortunately the wi-fi wasn't working but the front desk moved us to the main building without hesitation in order to accommodate us. This location, seconds off the highway, is very close to all sorts of conveniences (food, gas, etc.)

We stay at many hotels and due to our occupation we find ourselves needing a hotel in this area quite often. We do like this hotel as we are able to take advantage of their "Motel" building that has "large Vehicle" parking available as we need this. We find that this hotel is very pricey for what you get. At... More
