Stayed here three nights, very hot rooms. If you have windows open you get a lot of traffic noise from busy main road. When we went to breakfast we were met by a load of flies over the uncovered breakfast buffet and couldn't eat any of the food which was a shame as it looked nice.

We visited on a warm day I early June and the temperature in the room in the main building was 28+ degrees C and the only option to cool the room was to open a window towards the street where traffic noise was a major factor. There were no fans available and the resembled a sauna. We opted to change... More

Nice to be here again! This place unfortunately went broke last year due to the financial crises. Now 40 shareholders has put in monies for restoration, and the result is impressive! In the main building they four sweets(including a bride sweet). The annex was totally refurnished and made a very impressive impression. The hunting room has been fitted up,and made us want to stay... Nice place to go with the dogs, direct access out from the room to outside, lovely walks around and in middle of nature. Friendly staff, nice and clean with large rooms. Only downside was the prices in the restaurant, and the confusion over the opening times for dinner and breakfast (shorter than advertised). The staff were wonderful and cooked us... More

Nice room, great dinner. Homemade breakfast - loved it! Fresh homemade bread, homemade jam. Would love a playground outdoor for kids, but we used the garden as a playground. Great environment and the people working there was helping and smiling. Will recommend this for family and friends going to Denmark.

We stayed at this kro in July 2015. It is a great place with really good food and friendly staff. Highly reccommend to book one of the five suites as they are located in the main building, and are newly renovated. It would be quite a different experience to live in the annex. Loved this hotel!

We only stayed for one night, but the hotel left a good impression. It seemed very unique and "authentic" - depending on local food and using its remote location as a way of standing out. Our room was located in the hotel itself, not annex, and was recently refurbished and very roomy. Containing a double bed and an extra single... More

My mother and I stayed at Luneborg Kro for 3 nights as part of a 9 day trip to visit places where our Danish ancestors were from. We rented a car and visited the coast in several places, and Aalborg and most of northern Jutland. The hotel is well located and is very quaint and attractive, the perfect country inn.... More

We loved the ambience of oldy worldy denmark in this hotel but unfortunately the annex room we had left somewhat to be desired. It was convenient to be able to park right outside and the room was quite spacious and pleasant. However, the level of cleanliness was not up to standard and the shower had no ventilation, or handle to... More

We stayed there for 4 nights and we were really disapointed. The place looked more like a road-motel rather than a kro and the price was far too high. The room was located in an annex and not in the main building (actually, only 5 of the 15 rooms available are inside the main building). The Annex building and the... More
