Called in with my mother, as we was doing a bit of christmas shopping. We sat next to the beautiful open fire (very cosy) ordered a glass of wine and soda and a pint blackcurrant and water (£5odd not a bad price). We decided to have something to eat and both went for the homemade burger (I had cheese on...

We'd been recommended the food by many for the Woolly Sheep, so we were really looking forward to our booking this afternoon. However, the waitressing staff were all terrible. We weren't asked if we wanted a drink, waited 20 minutes before going to ask ourselves, then we had to get up again after another 15 minutes to ask for our...

My wife and I love to visit Skipton and we have been to the woolly sheep many times in the past. Unfortunately I have to say that the food of late has gone down hill. We had lunch there the other day and whilst neither my wife and I had a bad meal it certainly wasn't as good as it...

Visited this pub while on holiday. We found that despite there being some good music being played there was very little atmosphere in the pub which was disappointing because we had read some good reviews before visiting the pub

The pub area is very characteristic and the open fire enhances the warm atmosphere now that winter is on. Great staff as well as the local draft beer. I'll definitely be back there if I'll be around Skipton.

My parents had stayed here before so we joined them for a night away in Skipton. The hotel was perfectly situated for all the shops, bars and restaurants. The bar was nice and cozy and the outside seating area was great. The room was spotless and the beds comfortable. Breakfast was amazing, so much choice and service was excellent. I...
