The trip advisor reviews looked very promising, the hotel on the website looked fab, our experience was of unconcerned staff, the owner in particular, and a poor evening meal ruined the day. The door to the en-suite in the bedroom would not close and the owner did not seem to care that we could see each other on the toilet...

Chose this without any reference to a website as it was in the area we wanted to visit, excellent choice all round, superb food served in the restaurant on site, lots to choose from in the town and good walks to be had. Rooms were very well presented and comfortable beds.

Downside was the sliding door on the ensuite did not close fully so sat on toilet looking into car park so one could be seen by people in the car park! This was our second year in this fab place, with the added bonus of restaurant down stairs (serving great food) and cocktail bar over the road. Very comfortable, friendly and central for all things Skipton. Love it so much already booked for next year.

The perfect menu for a family dinner. Outstanding food and wonderful service all wrapped up in a tastefully decorated venue. I say hands-down the absolute best meal that I've had in Skipton! Bravo to the chef, and waiters.

I stopped at Napier's for 2 nights, and everything was spot-on from the friendly welcome to the easy checkout, brilliant! When I arrived, I was shown to room 3 which is a nicely decorated compact double with a smart en-suite shower room. When I mentioned my 4 hour drive I was instantly offered a proper cup of tea, even though...

Prior to this visit, we'd only eaten at Napiers once before, a couple of years previous. Our thoughts then were "excellent food, wonderful surroundings, you don't get much but what you do get is beautiful". Those thoughts haven't changed except for point three - you get much more on your plate!! Even better I say!!! We enjoyed a meal out...

Napiers is not in the hubbub of Skipton but this is a little hidden gem. The staff were both courteous and genuinely helpful should you need any help. Though I never dined here in the evening, I can attest that the breakfast is cracking and recommend it highly with all types of food on offer.... the full English was awesome...
