Staff unhelpful and patronising. Room pocky and next to function room, so very noisey. No wardrobe just a space with a coat hanger or two. Buffet breakfast only good thing about stay. Look elsewhere if you need to stay in or near Skipton

Stayed there for one night but had to change room as was looking out over the bins when paid extra for Canal view. Leisure centre / Pool feel dirty and inferior to what I was expecting. I am a member of a gym in a hotel where I live, and would not be a member there. Had a nice evening...

When staying here we were one of a 'special-interests group booking' and before arrival we noted the wide ranging reviews on trip advisor. Having now been to the hotel we can understand better why there may be such diverse opinions, and maybe groups and individuals are treated differently! In promotional material the hotel appeared to be in a lovely canalside...

After a long day of walking, we stayed for one night here. The room itself was fine and a good size with a modern and clean bathroom. Skylights in the roof were an interesting feature. Decor was slightly dated and needed refreshing. Had meal in the bar, was pretty average with largely indifferent staff.

We have just come back from a three night break in this hotel. It really could not have been nicer. The whole hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff are without exception friendly and helpful at the same time being very professional. We booked a canal view room which was delightful from where we could see barges passing under the swing...

The hottest place I have ever stayed in. Complained but was told it's due to the hotel being made of concrete! Even though I turned off my radiator the room was stifling and couldn't leave window open due to road noise. Room a weird layout with bathroom in room. Toilet separate. The bed was raised up on a weird platform...

Staff were nice, but the room was 'tired'. We stayed in the Cononley suite. Large and airy. When they made up our room in the mornings, they didn't vacuum. They could have had a nicer selection of complimentary toiletries. Plus there was no fridge, which we found odd, and an inconvenience. Bar prices were quite dear, and we didn't bother...

Clean, smart and priced reasonably. Short trip into town, you can wonder along the canal if desired. There's a close by Bay Horse Pub and equi distance a very good Indian restaurant. Can help thinking the place has a lot more potential with further investment. Its starting to look a little dated these days. That said its still ideal as...

The hotel is in a great location, our room which was great & nice & clean over-looked the canal, so we were able to watch boats going passed. The hotel staff were very friendly & helpful. The food was faultless, not least of which the breakfast-EVERYTHING was nice and hot (where needed), and fresh unlike some hotels that have "buffet" type...

Stayed here a couple of weeks ago on a bed, breakfast dinner and entertainment deal. Visited the town and market ( very good ) and had lunch at the pub beside hotel before checking in. Hotel very spacious with welcoming staff on arrival. We were lucky to be given a canal side room up on the 4th floor ( good...
