We ran in out of the rain with a dog in tow and the girl behind the bar couldn't have been more welcoming bringing a bowl of water for the dog. We stayed for food which was fresh home cooked and delicious.

Recently had a one night stay but usually stay there when visiting family. Always a friendly welcome. Nice clean rooms, helpful staff and relaxed atmosphere. Good local, traditional pub. Close to shops and amenities.

We came to the Drovers Arms on a Sunday, so it was quite busy but we got served pretty quickly to stay we were a table of 10. The menu was lovely and there was plenty to choose from. There was a young girl on shift, maybe named Alex? Not 100%, she didn’t provide great customer service. But thankfully the other members of staff on shift made up for it. We would come back to try something else on the normal menu!
