Stayed here overnight whilst on a work course. The furniture is outdated, there’s no WIFI despite that being advertised and due to the age of the building it’s very creeky and noisy with all being heard through the ceiling. All for £60 a night. Rip off.
The rooms are unremarkable, but the pub scene is great. Plenty of local color in the bar most evenings. The staff is friendly and helpful. They offer a good cooked breakfast. One problem is that the WiFi is not available in the rooms, but only in the bar.
Clean & tidy bit dated beds really need to be updated very uncomfortable to get a goods night sleep.Breakfast no menu cooked food very greasy cooked in same pan. Sorry but will not be staying at this hotel again.

"All rooms are accessed via stairs."
"There are no views from any of the windows but your not really going there for a view! Good access to the local amenities."
"Perhaps a room on the top floor is better. With creaky floorboards, we were aware of movement from the guests above us."
