This premier inn is perfect for a family get together, the location is based at the harbour and is close to the castle which makes for a great day out weather providing of course. We enjoyed our stay here though the food was not great but at least there are plenty of takeaways close by. There was an amazing firework...

Friendly staff, good clean room. Great restaurant with play area for kids. Only fault I found was our room was under or very near the stairs and you could hear everyone running up and down the stairs.

What did surprise us was the fact that Carrickfergus is a bigger place than we thought - we could have used an hour or two to explore the Fort and town. Our room was spacious and had all the basics you would expect from a chain hotel. The restaurant...
